I am a caregiver I have been taking care of the elderly for 6 in a half years. I love it I have a passion for it. And nothing is more rewarding then the one you take care smile at you. And they become my extended family I live it.

I truly enjoy helping and taking care of elderly patients.

I started caregiving for my grandmother who was suffering from dementia. Being a good caregiver requires a lot of patience. I provide that to people in my care and hope to assist them in ways that improve their quality of life. One of my greatest accomplishments as a caregiver was seeing someone recover cognitive ability after switching from nursing home to in home care.

I am a very caring, kind, intelligent, respectful, and responsible. As for what attracted me to be a care giver is I see so many articles and shows on tv showing all of these residents being abused and it broke my heart and I wanted to make a difference so I decided to go to a technical high school were I got my CNA as well as all of my other certifications. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is the smiles I get when I do even the littlest thing s for my residents I am not saying it is always easy or picture perfect but I think of my residents as family members and treat them exactly how I would treat my own family member because you always have to think they did not ask to be in there situation and that is what I always refer back to. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is I went to a technical high school and got all of my certifications there and now am currently attending a university to further my education while working per diem. As well as currently looking for a full time job so I can continue helping people while also saving money for college.

I have been in the field of caring for intellectual disabled and elderly all my life, i now work as a manager in a group home and as it is highly rewarding ,I feel i can give more of my attention to one person and have alot of knowledge and love to give . And I also feel i can give families the comfort that there loved one ins in great hands,i myself am dealing with a parent with dementia and a stroke

I am an highly experienced LPN, with 20 years in home care experience. I take pride in providing great care to seniors or medically inclined individuals in their home. I do this privately. I provide flexible hours. Such as, nights, days or a 24-hour period, whatever is needed. While I provide care for you loved one, I earn my pay by cleaning and I am also willing, able and highly trustworthy to do small errands, such as (bills, groceries, etc.) References available upon request. I have worked in places from the ER, to the hospitals, nursing homes and in people's homes. I believe your loved one has the right to live the best life they can even when they are not feeling their best, battling a sickness or are elderly. It's not my job to be their boss as I work for them. I enjoy seeing them still do whatever they can to live the best life they can. I love helping people it gives me a sense of joy and warms my soul. It makes me a better person, it has taught me patience and to enjoy every moment of everyday even when it's not the greatest of days. I am proud of the mom I am.
