What makes me a great caregiver is my heart. I have always cared about the well being of others, it makes me happy knowing that I am able to help people. What I like about caregiving is meeting new people, and being able to do all I can to comfort and help. A personal achievement I am really proud of is working with someone with CP. This person was in a wheel chair for a long number of years, this person gave up long ago. I came in and got to help this person and care for them helped with motaviating this person to start exercising and then we started taking small steps, thru out my years of caregiving with this person. I was able to help get this person out of the chair and to start walking again. It made me feel so good to see smiles from my client and the family because of how I dedicated myself to her, I was able to give hope and was able to see my client do somethings on their own. It is definitely a highlight to caregiving.

Hi. I am what they consider a vet in the medical field. I started out taking care of my grandmother at the age of 14. Doing so gave me this since of honor and love. It also sparked my interest in helping others throughout my years. I have worked with dementia, hospice, disabilities, given showers, cleaned clothes and etc. I was a certified CNA and STNA in two different states with high honor. I am now med certified and also a Behavior Technician.

I became a STNA when I was 16 with the intended goal to make a difference in people's lives. For the last 7 years I've cared for a lot of amazing people and I continue to meet and care for residents with the same goal as when I started - to make a difference in people's lives and to be a light in the healthcare industry. Meeting people from all over, listening to their stories and helping them in a challenging time in their lives is something I'm very proud to say I do almost everyday.

I have provided care to several clients with different needs for many years. I take pride in performing task to the best of my abilities. It brings me joy to know I have helped an individual achieve there goals. I value dignity, respect, and independence.

I have been a caregiver since I was 8, I helped take care of my grandmother, I didn't go to school for this career but once I graduated and started helping my grandmother more I knew I wanted to be in a career that I could help others. As the years went on I have been in this career for 8 years plus if you consider me when I was younger. I also have 3 children and 1 of them is my niece and I have custody of her. I am so proud of the career I have chosen, I also took care of my mother that has lung cancer until she passed. I ma a very lovable and caring person.

I'm a 34 year old nurse assistant. I've been in this career doing what I love for over 15+ years. Alzheimer's and dementia are my passion to work with. I've also worked with mentally handicapped and development mentally disabled kids and adults as well as autism. Caring for people is my calling! Hope to hear from you soon!

Being a caregiver has been very rewarding in knowing I am able to make others feel good in their daily lives with assistance of daily living. They feel secure which makes me feel good and proud to assist. I have alot of compassion and heart for anyone.

I have always loved caring for people since I was a small child, after I had my own child my passion of caring for others grew. I love knowing that's I am making a difference in someone's life. What seems to be smallest thing to us, could mean the most to someone else. I have worked with individuals with special needs for seven years and have had the background of dealing with "difficult" traits. Everyone is different but we all want someone who shows they care about them. I currently am working with assisted living residents, and that's a big reward in it's self, I have no living grandparents so being with them makes me feel like I'm with my own family.

I am great at everything i do. Very out going and i have a deep care for other's. Nursing is not about the rate of pay, I believe it is about compassion for other's . I love what I do. And to be apart of someones life and provide exceptional care. I am a mother of 3 , hard working and very friendly. At every care position i have held i have received multiple rewards and recognition from the care I give. I do not feel inadequate in any aspect of my life, training or my abilities as a caregiver/ nurse.
