I am a 44 year old woman who enjoys taking care of people. I have a heart of gold and I thrive when it comes to helping people. I love to cook from scratch and baking what they are aloud to have. I have knowledge on a few different diets. I have a photography business that I started this year and I have been licensed for almost 20 years. I also raise 4 children which my youngest does the same job as me. I am very proud of my children too. I have a husband that has a blood clot in his brainstem and he has mini strokes all the time. I take care of him when that happens too.

Even as a little girl I have always enjoyed helping people any way I could. I have always been drawn to the medical field in some way. I started as a PCA helping with medications, insulin, wound care, some personal care. I then became a CNA and have worked with many wonderful people. From helping with basic care needs, to being someone they could share company with. To full care needs. Dressing, dinning, bathing, physical therapy, helping transfer from sitting ro standing. Wheelchair to bed. I love being able to make someone smile in anyway I can.

I have been working in senior care and healthcare since the mid 1990's while in college. My experience first began when volunteering in the Adopt a Grandparent program and as an Activities Assistant in a Pittsburgh Nursing Home. I was married to a minister for 20 years and had many great experiences with the elderly in the church and home setting. We moved to Carthage, MO and I became a certified CNA and CMA. I've experience with nursing homes, assisted living, in home care as well as private clients. Through all of this I have truly found a love and compassion for the elderly population! I have also assisted in the care of my own mother and moved back to this area in November, 2019 to do so.

Hello, my name is Emily and I am 29 years old. I would describe myself as a very dedicated and hardworking individual. I became interested in caregiving at a young age due to my family's history in the medical field. My mother is a nurse and my father has worked at the hospital for over 30 years. Growing up in this environment helped instill a passion for helping people and thirst for knowledge. The aspects I like most about caregiving are seeing how I can help improve someone's day and meeting new people from all walks of life. I started personal care back in 2016 while working at a local nursing home, but took a break to persue my bachelor's degree in business administration. I have sense decided it is time to return to my true passion which is helping people in any way I can.

I look at each person as if they were my own parents. I put my heart into everything I do and enjoy each day that I'm given, to spread joy and happiness to every person I meet. Hello my name is Amanda Anne Dunn, I was born December 19Th, 1996 I have been doing home health care sense 2016. I am very outgoing, I am a very good listener, I love to help people that need help I love to make sure they are being taken care of the way any human being out here should be taken cared of. Everyone that I have worked for they have noticed I do more then what is asked of me. I like to make sure my consumers and elders are happy and are able to live the way they want to live. I know I may be young but, that does not get in the way of my work ethic. I have always wanted to do in home care and more because I love the work and I love the people. I've known about this pretty much my whole life my whole family does nursing, home care, etc. I enjoy helping when I can and any way that I can. Hi! I have been taking care of living beings and organics my entire life. I get true joy in helping others. I am that person that would give you the t-shirt off my back or my last dollar to help. I recently moved my grandfather from New Castle, PA down here to Corning, OH after my grandmother had passed away. He was not being taken care of properly in Pa. He had several major medical issues going on. When I got him in my care he was 86 lbs. Within 6 months I had him up to 125. His highest weight was 154 before the last month or 2 of his life and he started to go downhill. He struggled with emphysema, COPD, CLL, prostate and urinary problems, a slew of heart problems, dementia, hearing loss and he was very combative when trying to get him to eat or bath. But he lived the best life he had left in my care until he passed this past October. I had him for 2 years. I am a very intelligent individual whom loves to garden, homestead, live off the land, read a ton, craft, cook and bake. I am a sewing enthusiast and make my own jewelry. I was told about this job option by a friend of mine who works for the company and she thought I would make a perfect fit for it since I am moving back home. I want to be able to care for more individuals as I did my grandfather. I am experienced in nursing home/assisted living care. In specific dementia and Alzheimer's. I was certified in med pass. My children are growing like weeds and they won't be home forever. I have several personal achievements. My most important one is that I am appointed by the State Supreme Court of Ohio to serve abused and neglected children and be their voice in court. I own a small business owner and opened up my own bakery. I did that and am closing/selling my business to move back home to be closer to family. I have lived all around the world and served proudly for our country. I am very knowledgeable about different cultures. I do have Ohio State & Federal clearances and background checks available.

I am a great caregiver is because I love my job and what I do. Since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to help people. What I like about being a caregiver is I get to make a difference in someone's life. Even if it's just making them smile everyday. A personal achievement that am proud of is becoming a caregiver and pursing to become more.

I take care of people the way i would want my mother or father taken care of. I go above and beyond my job duties.

My favorite thing about being a caregiver is the residents. I was first attracted to this job because I felt that it was important for me to play a role in my community is someway, and helping to care for the elderly was a good fit for me. I am friendly and fun and I love to learn new skills and to learn about the people that I am working with.
