Even as a little girl I have always enjoyed helping people any way I could. I have always been drawn to the medical field in some way. I started as a PCA helping with medications, insulin, wound care, some personal care. I then became a CNA and have worked with many wonderful people. From helping with basic care needs, to being someone they could share company with. To full care needs. Dressing, dinning, bathing, physical therapy, helping transfer from sitting ro standing. Wheelchair to bed. I love being able to make someone smile in anyway I can.

Becoming a caregiver for me comes from a deep compassion to help others. Knowing that I can make a difference in someones day just from lending a hand, an ear, or a shoulder is enjoyable for me. I have been a certified nursing assistant for almost 12 years. I have seen and learned alot, I have been present for the best of times, and the worst. I love what I do so much that I went to college and obtained my associates degree in nursing!

I look at each person as if they were my own parents. I put my heart into everything I do and enjoy each day that I'm given, to spread joy and happiness to every person I meet. I do have my clearances and my back ground check and FBI check I became a care giver because i wanted to help the ones that need help with their daily needs .I like helping people with their daily needs and i love getting to know them and their family's . It's a great feeling to know that you are doing something and caring for someone that needs a little or alot of help . It makes me feel happy when the one i'am caring for is happy and their family is also happy with the care i give them . I have been a care giver for almost 20 years . I stopped working for awhile , when my Grandmother (103) was getting worse and she need more help before she passed this year . i wouldn't change doing what i've been doing .

I am a great caregiver is because I love my job and what I do. Since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to help people. What I like about being a caregiver is I get to make a difference in someone's life. Even if it's just making them smile everyday. A personal achievement that am proud of is becoming a caregiver and pursing to become more.

I have been a certified nursing assistant for 17 year,I am cpr certified. I have worked in all aspects of care from dementia to clients with ms in skilled nursing facilities and home health. I realy enjoy my job and the clients and residents i take care of.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I'm a very big people oriented person. I love knowing that at the end of a shift I've helped someone achieve something. I've helped them provide for themself. I love knowing that even with just one resident, I've made a difference. I'm proud of my hard work and dedication that got me to where I am today and where I'm trying to go. I have two daughters and they're my life. We do everything together and at the end of the day when us three are home the look I see, is a great feeling of another day gone well.

I became a caregiver as a new career path 24 years ago. It has been a very rewarding experience in my life. I like the feeling it gives me knowing i am helping someone. It has also helped me overcome my shyness.When im not working I enjoy spending time with my family.Gardening, camping and playing cards.

Because I love people, and when I was a little girl my grama had a heart attack in our home and no one knew what to do, I love and enjoy taking care of the residents and listening to there stories when they was young, my achievement is seeing them smile. And knowing I can make there day, I am 4'10 and weight 93 lbs but I am very strong I am currently at millcreek manor love my job I'm used of working 120 hrs in two weeks our staff picked up I now work my normal 75 hrs would love more hrs
