I have always been a caregiver, taking care of my grandparents, my aunt before she was transferred to a nursing facility. My aunt had numerous health issues. I also took care of my husband, he had two major surgeries last year, he had to learn to walk again. During the process of caring for my husband, I realized that I enjoy helping people and I resigned from law enforcement and I am currently working as a caregiver part-time for Comfort Keepers of Florence SC since November of last year. I'm proud to say that I took good care of my husband and he is getting stronger every day, caregiving gives me the opportunity to give back to our seniors, I enjoy putting a smile on their faces. I have worked in the medical field as CNA in a hospital setting and nursing home setting for almost 10 yrs.. I enjoy taking care of people's loved ones, making them feel comfortable and cared for. Make them feel appreciated and not alone, that's its okay to let someone help. I'm very humble, respectful, caring, loving heart,and considerate towards others. I'm very patient.
