I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I am very positive and upbeat, I am kind and caring, I am very passionate in what I do. There is nothing else I would rather be doing than helping someone else in need. That is where my heart is at. I`ve been in the caretaking field of work for 34 years and have no desire to stop anytime soon. I`ve always felt a call on my life to be a caregiver, my heart has never been drawn anywhere else, it's just that simple. I love what I do. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help another person, no matter what level of care they require.

Caregiving is in my heart, I have been taking care of people for over 27 years and I love it. I have a heart for people. Hello everyone, my name is Kim. I am originally from NC, which is where I have, so far, completed my education and skills. I have years of experience in patient care. I am a very compassionate and empathetic caregiver. I'm able to adapt well to different personalities. My strongest personality traits are my listening skills and my keen intuition. I became more interested in geriatrics when I became a medical assistant. I enjoyed emergency medicine but God gave me this incredible ability to love people, like I have known them my whole life. In particular, to give outstanding care to the ones who once took care of us. What I love most about being a caregiver is making people feel comfortable, respected, important and dignified. A personal achievement I am proud of and blessed to have, are my two sons. My oldest is 8 yrs old and is Autistic. It has been an incredible/beautiful journey watching him achieve little milestones we sometimes take for granted. My youngest son is 6 years old but acts like he is 35. Hello, my name is Megan I have more than 5 years experience in home health care. I got into this field of work after the passing of my grandfather. Watching the health aides work with him in his final days made me appreciate this line of work. Most recently I have been doing hospice care mainly. Mostly I enjoy being their and making sure my patients final days are as comfortable as can be and being a companion as well to some of needed.

Being a caregiver is a rewarding job. In my heart it makes me feel good to help others in need of care. Caring and compassion is key to being a caregiver.

Im very caring and compassionate, i love being able to help others. Ive cared for individuals young and old. Ive volunteered for hospice. I have also cared for my mother and brother who both had cancer until their passing. Im not sure if anyone would have to care for me one day. Prayerfully i will receive the same love and compassion that ive shown others.
