I am very passionate about care giving. I began taking care of my wheel chair bound grandfather when I was 12 until he passed away in 2015. I have been caring for the elderly ever since. I have over 20 years caregiving experience. 16 years of memory care experience and 14 years of home health experience. I am CNA as well as BLS certified.

I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. Owing to this experience, its been my passion to continue on such opportunities to provide quality care for my clients to make their lives much better.

I try to aim high with making clients and family comfortable being around. I love laughing and talking. I became a caregiver because I love God's people and serving others. I enjoy my clients being happy with me and the care I give. And for me to see them comfortable around me. The personal achievement I am proud of is when I had the honor and privilege to take care of some of Houston's finest clients. And I was able to be there until the end of their life stage. God has truly been good to me . I have served as an Caregiver for 25yrs. And I love every minute of it.

As a caregiver/CNA I do this type of work because its what I enjoy. I'm a very caring person that has a deep compassion for the work I do. I treat my clients as my own. Companion is a must. I'm a very listening and understanding person that empathizes. VERY ENCOURAGING! Catch on very quickly, discerning new clients and surroundings (it tells me a little about their personalities and characteristics, what i may be up for). I've known since age 13 what I wanted to do. I'm a certified CNA, caregiver, HAHA. I've worked with many individuals in very different levels. I have 13+ in the medical field. I love challenges. I've worked with many challenging residents and clients in homes, out of homes, nursings facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. I'm willing and ready to take on whatever needs my attention. I can do ROM, participate in Dr appointments, etc. When and if hired, I will provide documentation.

I love caring for people. I have been a caregiver the majority of my life. Along with working as a caregiver currently, I was my maternal grandmothers caregiver while she had Alzheimer's until she passed in November 2015. I then became a caregiver to my paternal grandmother who had liver cancer for a few months until she passed in November of 2016. I have taken care of or been a companion of many others for over 20 years. I like giving back and helping those that are unable to help themselves. I treat my clients and take care of them like they are my family. I like to talk about just about anything and love to hear about their lives. I enjoy seeing a smile on their faces because they have someone to talk to and listen to them and help them.

I've been in the healthcare field for almost 10yrs. My motto is to be the caregiver that I want in the future. I've worked in many nursing homes, assisted living and memory care facilities. When I worked at autumn Leaves as a CNA, I was offered the position as a Life Engagement Specialist. Within my new position, my role included conducting activities and exercises. When I started the exercise routine, I made some changes to make it more fun for everyone. Within 3months, it went from 20% participation to 60%. I've worked with all type of patients and residents and also understand that this change is not only on the client but also effects the family members as well. My goal is to pay it forward for those who are in need.

I enjoy taking care of the elderly people's I also enjoy conversations letting him know that someone does care about them and giving them the best care I can give them with lots of love and understanding
