I've been a caregiver for more than 30 years. I care about people and I feel like God has given me a gift. I love to talk so I pretty much can get a patient to try must things that a family member can't get them to to to. I love to read and interact with them if it's just a game cards.

I became a caregiver because my grandfather was ill when I was young I had to learn to assist with him I love to help people I started out as a CNA and then a med aid and now I am currently trying to get into RN program I am striving to be the best so that I can always be there to help people

I become a caregiver after my dad died of cancer a few years back, I was not able to be there every day for my dad due to living so far away. I will love your parent, aunt, uncle, child etc. just like my own. I do tend to spoil the person I'm caring for, but I assure you they will be well taken care of!

Through my experience in the military I became very interested in mental health and physical care. I spent much of my time with young and older individuals that experienced both mentall illness and physical issues. I witnessed families not understanding why there family member is not "normal" like they used to know and witnessed the emotional pain the families pain can cause on the patient. The Need of personal care is not something that is simple, it takes a person who understands the needs emotionally and physically but most of all involves trust between the patient and there family. If you are looking for someone to truely invest time and care in your family member and update the family daily on the patients condition then I believe I would be a great candidate.
