I've worked with Patients who deal with alzheimer's disease, depression, psychological or mental health problems. I was trained to obtain my Psychiatric Nurse Aide certification as an employee for Vernon state hospital, also Abilene state Supported living Center. I get attached and my last client I had I was with that person for 9 years till she pass.. I treated her like she was my family as her family treated me the sane.

I am a nursing student. I am a certified Nursing Assistant. I am Certified in Basic Life Support or CPR. I have found a passion in working with geriatric patients. It takes a lot of patience and caring. I enjoy the feeling I get of knowing I'm caring for someones mother or father, the way I would want if roles were reversed.

I am looking for a career in the medical field that I can be at for many years to come, that I can continue to grow and gain new experience and training year after year. I am very ambitious and goal oriented, to have a job that I can make a difference in and help me achieve my goals would be a dream come true.

I've been in home health for last 15 yrs. I've done state facilities also working with individuals with developmental disabilities. I was a certified medication aid. I worked with g tubes. I've done pediatric home health. I went to Wyoming to take care of my mother before she passed. I took a CNA class while I was there. Was not able to go in front of nursing board because COVID hit and I was let go from my job cause I was working prn . So they wouldn't pay to let me get my certification. I've been out of work for past two years due to getting my personal life situated and being a stay at home mom which I'm not very good at . So I said I needed a job and started applying. I enjoy this line of work because flexible scheduling. And I enjoy taking care of people. I don't like the fact that I get too attached.. they become like family. And when they pass it's hard on me . But to know I made a difference in someone life. That's the reward.

I have had been a caregiver to my own Mom who passed away 2016. I took care of her 24/7 daily baths, hair grooming, toilet needs and feeding her every 3 meals. I have in the past taken care of other Elderly people. I am a loving and devoted person with a big heart. I always wamted to be. Nurse, I have worked in the Medical Field as a Assistant and loved my job fir years. I enjoy making them happy for the day and they deserve the best treatment. I have been a compationate person all my life and took care of grandparents on their death beds. I grew fond of my Aunt whom was a nurse she tought me alot.

I am very caring and devote ed to the client and try to be as helpful to family as possible knowing the hardship they are facing. I started wanting to be a caregiver when I saw how much mother inlaws care giver ment to her . I wanted to make some one know that there was someone that would always be there for them. I was most thankful for the experience of caring for a client and his wife until the death of both 2 months apart and being there for them until the end so they weren't alone .I love being a caregiver because it makes me feel needed.
