I started out as a student at a small facility in malakoff tx, I got certified almost 3 years ago and learned quite a bit becoming a CNA. I believe one of the reasons I am a great caregiver is because I take my time, encourage and follow safety protocols when working with the clients. I keep it professional and I know how to keep what could seem like a bad day a great day! I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals, home healthcare and hospice. I became a Caregiver because I enjoy nurturing, making people comfortable, happy thus making the Client realize how important that they are. This is my-calling. I've been in this line of work/volunteering since I was a mere 21 years old. I helped my mom take care of her family that were all stricken with Cancer. In later years I then took complete care of my mom when she was diagnosed and on Hospice. Transitioning for Clients/Family can be overwhelming with dreaded diagnosis or merely aging where as help being needed in the home. I have had a 100% rate of approval by all Clients/Family, always have had a good-fit with the Family feeling at ease. I am brutally honest, I would never touch anything that doesn't belong to me. I've never been in any trouble. I have a clean record plus a fairly clean driving record. My compassion runs deep. Again, it is my niche'...my-calling to care for the elderly, less fortunate and/or those with challenges. AT this point I can only take on Sitting and Driving positions.

I have been in the health care industry for the last twelve years. I'm a mother of three teenage boys and have also have had my cna since 2007 and am very happy in my career and enjoy what I do.
