I began my journey 8 years ago when I became a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in long term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, memory care facilities, hospice, and the hospital. I did not know what I was getting myself into in the beginning but somehow I felt that helping others was meant for me. Being a caregiver is who I am. I enjoy people and connecting with them even when it is a challenge to do so. Every person is unique and has different needs. I always do my best to make them feel comfortable while finding joy in the day. I am currently in my second year of nursing school with a graduation year of 2024. I have 3 children plus 3 step children age in range of 10-17. I have a four legged, super furry son name Kai. I work on the weekends on the med/surg unit at the hospital. Now that school is starting up I have time available to do what I love and that is helping others live a better life.

I'm a very sweet and engaged care giver. I get satisfaction in knowing that my clients are taken care of theway that they want to be, also in the way that is right and has to be in order for my client to be comfortable . I was a licensed cna, I left this field of work for awhile so I no longer have my license. I have had almost years of experience with caregiving. My main focus is to make sure my clients have what they need and are first and foremost comfortable and stress free, as I will be the one to handle anything needed of me.

I take care of my clients as if they were my loved ones. I've always been a caregiver by nature. I've always wanted to help people who couldn't help themselves. Plus I am very good at it. Personal achievement would be making a difference in someone's life and getting that acknowledgement from their family because it impacted them as well. And also being able so save lives.

What makes me a great caregiver is I enjoy helping others to achieve to be more positive about themselves and be there for them by cooking , housekeeping, taking them to store, pharmacy , Dr appointments . I enjoy meeting new people & making new friends.

I am a very outgoing and caring person. I enjoy helping others; especially when their family cannot be there all the time.

Becoming a caregiver give me a useful purpose helping someone that need me to be giving careing and loving toward them let them know that you care and it not just a job be happy friendly.

My mother introduced me to the nursing home field at the age of 14 and loved working and helping persons that need help . I love taking care of people that need help it makes me happy to be able to help them and see the smile in their face when I help them . I have over 20 years experience working with senior person in their homes , nursing homes and assisted living homes .
