After many years of working in a Hospital Business Office by day and caring for a family member at night, I decided to become a Caregiver to others. I know first hand what it is like to need assistance with the care of a loved one and realizing that you can't be there 24 hrs a day. The uncertainty of trusting someone else to do it for you can cause anxiety. Compassionate...I possess a powerful desire to help others especially seniors ...they are inviting and available even if all they do is listen and provide companionship.

Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

I naturally have an urge to help others, my main priority is helping other people wholeheartedly. Empathy, compassion, Patience, Reliable, Trustworthy. Flexible. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members especially my grandparents, since then I have dedicated my time in doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy getting familiar with patients and accommodating their special health needs. Spending one on one time with my patients and knowing that they trust me enough to care for them, especially in the comfort of their homes. I've invested over 20 years of work experience both hospitals and in home care giving. As well as formal education and extensive training CPR/First Aid, Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Room Technician, Patient Care Technician, Certified Phlebotomy and EKG Technician. Learning new skills and take continuing education to do my job well.

I love the fact that I can help people it makes my heart be at peace and it's definitely my calling I have experience in and with stroke cancer hospices bathing grooming copd and dementia depression and Alzheimer's begin a caregiver is definitely my calling and I enjoy doing it beginning able to put a smile on someone face

Hi I am an very experienced compassionate caregiver I am not certified but I do have 15+ years experience. I am originally from Illinois been in Texas for 9 years. I am looking forward to becoming a nurse and I love what I do. I have been working in Alzheimer's for the last 9 years. I have a beautiful family that's why I prefer to work overnight shift but willing to work day shift (9am-3pm) to be more specific. I'm a very dependable hard worker with patience.
