I become a caregiver of my Mother-in-law for 6years, I realize I enjoy taking care of the elderly so I decided to do it and accept the offer of a friend to take care of her Mother-in-law and Father-in-law. Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

The appreciation I see in people I cared for and when their families or friends says to me O!faith you are wonderful and exceptional.It gives me inner joy. 7 years ago I started out by being a caregiver for my grandmother. She had a stroke and needed help getting around the house. Since then I've been working with others to help make their living easy. I've worked with people who have dementia. I enjoy helping others out . Especially to the ones who really need it. I worked at a memory care and assisting living facility for 6 years. I'm now looking for one on one care . I hope I can make you and your loves one life easier. I work full time but I'm free early mornings. Looking for a minimum of 15 hrs a week.Katy area ONLY.
