I have great communication skills and am loving, kind, caring, compassionate and most of all patient. I can do whatever it takes to make your loved one comfortable which includes lite cooking, cleaning, running errands, medication reminders, bathing /dressing, companionship and feeding if necessary.
When a loved one went into rehab after being in the hospital and finding that the level of care he received while in the nursing home was awful I swore I would help those who needed genuinely good care. I was able to witness those who were not treated fairly and could not speak up for themselves in these homes and family members who were caught between a rock and a hard spot not being able to be there or care for their loved one in their home, my heart went out to them.
I love helping people and putting a smile on someone's face.
My cases have involved dealing with dementia patients, patients with mobility issues, bed ridden, hospice care and just someone who needs a friend to listen and someone who really cares about them.
I am proud to say that those families that I have cared for have been very happy with my services That puts a smile on my face and says I've done a job well done. What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm upbeat with energy to dance, walks, parks/gardens or taken in a local concert with active clients. I enjoy watching sports with my clients live or TV, working on puzzles or just have a quiet time looking thru photos, books.
I became a caregiver after caring for grandmother, father-in-law, and friend's family members.
I enjoy being a caregiver to assist both client and the family with daily chores, making things easier for client, giving the family peace of mind their love one is in the best hands as I would want for my own family. They can spend time with their own family if needed.
My personal achievements is having a beautiful smart daughter who has given me 3 beautiful healthy grandchildren that bring joy to my life every time I'm with them. I'm happy with the times I bring joy a family who's love one needs care. Nervous about the future, but soon able to relax and spend memorable times with them, let the caregivers handle the weight. My goal is to help people live full, independent and dignified lives within the comfort of their own homes. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive in-home care that enriches lives and am committed to helping your parent or loved one maintain the highest possible level of independent living. I am a highly dependable and reliable caregiver who loves taking care of the elderly.
