I have been a Home Health Care Specialist for more than 10 years. I started caring for my mom and decided that caring for Seniors is what I love to do. I am blessed to have a chance to make a difference in someone's life. My experience is pretty rounded in that I have worked with clients from 22 to 98; with all types of care needs. I have done companion care and live-in care as well. I am kind, patient, empathetic, and people feel comfortable talking to me. I am a great listener. Each and every client becomes special to me and an important part of my life. My goal is to have your loved one look forward to me coming to work and spending time in my care!

I have great passion working with seniors and people who need help as well. Have developed and it has been my interest to not only work with elders and others but also to fellowship with them as well. I found it interesting and lovely especially when they tell those old stories and their words of wisdom great asset.

I started of in the caregiving field with taking care of my grandfather. In the process I got to learn a lot and I did enjoy doing it. I treat every client like my own family with love and compassion. Every client had different needs, so I get to understand the client first and foremost. I mostly enjoy the learning process in caregiving, no matter how long one has been a caregiver, we get to learn new things every time. I once had a client who had dementia (late stage), who did not want to go to bed (it was late at night). One thing that the client enjoyed was watching animal documentaries . I showed the client pictures of different animals that I had taken when I went to Kenya and the client calmed down and I was able to redirect the client to bed. My patience with the client helped me assure the client that I was on her side. This scenario really made me proud of the caregiver that I'm becoming. I love what I do.

Personally i have empathy and compassion to people with various condition like,pple with disability due to impairement,sickly pple who need my assistance. What i enjoy most,is when i give care to the client and help them gain their self confidence and treat them equally and with respect and by the end of the day is rewarding to see that person happy and fulfilled.

Maintaining privacy for client. I became a care provider because when I worked in a nursing home as a server, their was a elderly women that was sick i felt the need to help her. I was told I could not help because I was not a caregiver. I helped her on my break; she thank me the next day.I put my two weeks in and applied as a care provider.It makes me happy then I can help residents with there activities of daily living; providing mental and physical stimulation.

I'm a CNA who has been caring for seniors over the past 14 years in conjunction with other caregivers in their private homes. I assisted with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, maintaining adequate groceries in the house through the family. I engaged in daily activities, including organizing mail, managing appointments, and exercising. I provided daily transferring of the patient from bed to wheelchair, to recliner and walking around the house and outside when it is safe to do so. I enjoy working with Seniors so that they can live in their homes as long as possible and so that their family members can have peace of mind.
