Im upbeat, energetic, silly by nature, understanding and compassionate. I can be a strong leader and motivate others but I tend to do it through a combination of reason meets humour. I love the outdoors and love helping others stay independent. I know what its like to be on the recieving side of care so it really means a lot to me to preserve dignity and be a friend to my clients. I have extensive experience and training, am prompt and dependable. I am a problem solver and athough my demeanor is best described as silly, I am a professional and conduct myself as such. Humour is just a great way to connect and lighten the mood when things are otherwise difficult. I am proud of a great many accomplishments throughout my career, my greatest achievment is my ability to help someone go from being about to be placed into a long term care facility, to being completely able to function on their own without me. My interest in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) was sparked by my great-great-great grandmother. Watching her journey and providing care during her transition was a profound experience. I derive immense satisfaction from emotionally and physically supporting my clients, treating them as if they were my own family. My proudest professional accomplishment is obtaining my CNA certification, allowing me to assist families during their most sensitive moments.

I have been a caregiver, CNA and PC, since 1999 I care for special needs patience at first step school help and a correction officer for 10 years child care for 10 years. So I enjoy helping elderly and anyone that needs help. I was also a substitute teacher for all ages 10 years, I am a people person

I assist with all daily living (can be modified to fit your personal requests and needs such as transportation, light meal prep, cleaning house, and even taking care of pets or children with no additional pay). Such as dressing, safely transferring from one part of the house to another, showers, baths, bed bathes if immobile, changing and assistance in the restroom, assist with feeding, or simply being a companion. I do it all. From 3 to 6 different people at the same time efficiently. I have very special and personal relationships with all of my residents and they know that I truly have a special place in my heart. I love my job all the way down to the dirty. I have always had a passion for helping people. I worked with adults with developmental disabilities for 15 years before working with seniors. I have a great respect and admiration for our seniors and desire to help them live a dignified, independent life while keeping them safe in their home. I have two adult children and 2 grandchildren who live in Oklahoma. I was a care manager for a home care agency in Enid Oklahoma for 5 years before moving to Arkansas last year. I am a 50-year-old woman who has cared for 2 elderly parents (1 through Cancer, other Alzheimer), a lovely 64 yr. old lady with ALS / Alzheimers & a wonderful man of 81 with COPD etc. I raised 2 productive, delightful, responsible children to adulthood (25 and 28) with no issues. I am a VERY personable lady with a huge heart who is very much a conversationalist, so I meet no strangers. I am one who treats others how I want to be treated and how I would want my loved ones treated. I am very maternal, protective and loving. I have 28 years experience as Mother and 9 as Grandma and 12 Years of caring for my elderly parents & 6 yrs. caring for others professionally. I most recently sat with a 63-year-old stage 6 Alzheimers / ALS patient. I am a very responsible, ethical and & trustworthy person to boot and even have the current background check available to you for extra peace of mind, just ask. I am interested in a sitting/companion/ caretaker position with elderly with or without pets.
