My entire life, people have been drawn to my light, loving energy, compassion and sense of humor. Most often I have heard that my presence speaks volumes, I'm a ray of sunshine and an earth angel. I feel our elders are a treasure and should receive the help and support they deserve. After decades working in a corporate setting I decided to leave and pursue a more heart-centered career. I had been drawn for years to the idea of working with elders and those in hospice and once I started training I knew I had found my life purpose. Regardless of age, I enjoy being a caregiver! I love knowing that I make a difference in peoples lives through my work, volunteering and my 'being of service' way of being. I ask questions about my client's well bing, needs and desires to be of best health. I give feedback to clients about what I think they need. I love keeping things in order and clean so things needed for clients are not searched for. I wanted to help mom and dad with the aging process and keep best health management. I am a skilled massage therapist and use professional touch to ease any pains. I have great patience and following through with commitment and effort to grow and help what needs to be done. i became a caregiver because i helped with my grandmother and i saw how important it is to have good care for the elderly.I like the feeling of helping and making people happy.I mesh well with most clients and form a strong bond.I've been a caregiver for 14 years and it feels like this is what I'm good at and am meant to be doing.

I have 6 years experience. I prefer overnights but I'm open. I have experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have several references. I have done everything from companionship to bathing and dressing.

I have been doing in home senior care for 2+ years. With a local company. I care for my Mother on all post-op situations. I also give her support care weekly. I have just completed the AR CNA course testing out at: 100%+5 written, and 99% clinical. I will test with the state soon. I always knew that I wanted to be someone that helped people when I grew up! I never did change my mind. This is one of the most rewarding jobs a person could ever have. I enjoy most to work in home with clients because as long as they have assistance they can stay and live in home instead of having to move to a facility!

I love one on one time with the clients it makes for a better experience. I became a caregiver after my grandmother got sick and needed help & its always been a huge passion of mine to help other family's that need the help. I'm a licensed CNA & thats my biggest accomplishment was getting my license to be certified to help the elders.
