i am very passionate about making a difference with my clients good will not just do it is about going the extra mile to exceed expectations . My clients aren't just case flies they're real people who i admire and treat everyone of them with respect just as i would want someone to treat my grandparents or parents the same. My name is Joyce Tate and I am a Licensed Assisted Living Manager for the State Arizona. I currently work as an Assisted Living Coordinator and Care Team Member in an assisted living in the city of Sun Lakes. I have over 20 plus years of experience in the healthcare industry providing care for individuals with disabilities and caring for those in the elderly community living with dementia and alzheimers. I believe in building life long connections by meeting my clients where ever they are in their healthcare journey until the end of life.

My experience is compromised of nearly 20 years providing excellent care in various settings such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities group homes and private residential homes. I pride myself in providing personal quality care that is tailored to each individual to meet their specific care needs ranging from recovery & rehabilitation to end of life hospice care and support. My personality traits of compassion and drive to help others are key in assisting clients to maintain their highest level of self care as possible while helping them meet their currents needs with respect and dignity .

With 13 years experience caring for seniors in their home & in facility, I find satisfaction in not only caring for his/her physical needs but also being a companion. I'm agency trained, certified HHA, comfortable with all tasks, experienced with Parkinson's, dementia/Alzheimers, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, stroke recovery. I enjoy making ADLs pleasant for you. My clients have enjoyed my friendly and caring personality and attention to their individual likes/dislikes. I have been in the medical field for 37 years I now live in Chandler Az since 2017 Dec. My wife and myself moved here to be closer to our younger grandchildren. Wanting to be here to see them grow . I was an NCT X-ray tech / Medical Assistant in Texas , as laws different here in Az, so I've found work here in Az with and orthopedic physician.But after COVID-19 my hours where cut back . But since Oct 2020 I got on board with the United States Postal Service here in Gilbert Az . But I'm only given 2 days during the week . So lm looking for PRN , Pool hours . I've worked in Texas with a Cancer client , then later went into Hospice, then passed away 2/2008 and another patient later whom had a severe stroke and unable to walk , they passed away 2/2017 . I've cooked , fed client , assisted family member to showering patients, given medication doses everyday , take vitals, transfer patients from bed to wheelchair, use Hoyer lift , transfer client to their doctors appts . I have- passion to help anyone in need .

I enjoy people and I love the fact that I can help people stay in their own homes. I have been blessed by the people that I have taken care of and pray that I can be a blessing to them as well. I am a nonsmoker, nondrinker, I love animals and I have a laid back personality. My husband and I moved to Arizona from Colorado primarily because of his health. He had numerous health issues including COPD, Diabetes, and was on oxygen 24/7 in Colorado. We moved here in 2016 and he passed a way in 2018 , so I was also his caregiver for the last part of his life.

I treat my patient like my family, I have compassion to my patient and most of all to give my best care to my patient. I didn't receive anything but according to the family that I worked before they always pressing me for being an excellent caregiver.
