What makes me a great caregiver I'm a helpful person loving person I'm very dependable and have been doing this kind of work for 7 years or a little more.I always wear a smile always happy and I have a great attitude and very fun to be around I feel when someone is having a bad day or sad I can be the one to bring their spirits up I love to make my client smile to.I became a caregiver 4 months after my grandma passed away I was there with hospice I cleaned house for my grandma got her drinks made small meals helped her to the restroom and helped her sit up to drink or to eat her meals after she passed on I wanted to become a caregiver to help the elderly and children with special needs I love this kind of work.I like being a caregiver because I like meeting new clients and work with them and see them make progress and help them become independent if they are able to I love to hear their old stories of when they were younger and I love to make my clients smile and show them I care for them and I am there for them if they need anything and show them I'm very honest and a loving person.I'm proud of getting DCW certified and DDD certified and my article 9 and cpr and first aid and i also have a dimentia and althimers certificate I also do insulin for diabetic clients and take vitals and administer meds and check sugar levels on diabetics to I have a background clearance card level 1 also I also have my background ran on my profile if interested in reading it I have very reliable transportation and full coverage insurance on my vechicle I love pets im a non smoker I'm very dependable and really looking to work with anyone that needs my help thank you and God bless everyone

I love being in the field of Caregiving. I'm friendly, outgoing and definitely dependable. It all started years ago when my mom suffered a stroke and we had to temporarily have her in an assisted home for a while. I met a lot of people she met there and she always had me help them out. I felt bad since all the nurses were on overload with their work so I helped whenever I could. I always volunteered at my children's schools and the church when the opportunity presented itself. I have experience with Special Needs with a young boy from my sons Karate Club that I volunteered to help also. I was taking care of a senior with Alzheimer's for at least 3 years until he recently passed away. I have another client with Parkinson's and another that suffered a stroke a year in a half ago. I do have my Home Health Aide Certification as of 11/21/15 and also my CPR Certification and Fingerprint and Background Check also available. My passed consists of working the front and back office of a Pediatric and Family Practice Office in Colorado, also lots of Customer Service and working in Administrative/Clerical. I look forward to meeting my new clients and bring enthusiasm and positive energy to them every day!

Completed training at CGTI-Care Giver Training Institute, Tucson, AZ and trained as home caregiver with Home-instead and received certification for palliative care and Alzheimer's care in January 2015. Update...I am now living in Casa Grande, Az. I love being a caregiver because I am a natural nurturer. I am empathetic, caring and kind. I am an excellent cook and love to please my clients! I have a lot of experience in Dementia care. I took care of my grand mother for 10 yrs, until the age of 99. I have a very special ability to build a trusting, caring and loving rapport with my clients. I have excellent work references also.
