I'm a great caregiver because I really care about the elderly. I am emphatic and compassionate. I took care of my mom who suffered with Alzheimer's and I try to imagine I'm giving the client the same care as if she was my very own mother. I am an ordained minister who is expected to walk in love. I get pleasure out of knowing that the client has been given the best care possible and if I was put under a microscope there wouldn't be anything to complain about. I try to follow the golden rule 'do unto others as you would have then do unto you.' I answer to a higher calling and I know I will be held responsible if I don't give the client the best care. I became a caregiver because from both sides of my family I had 2 great grandmothers who were getting older and as they got older I was always the one to make sure they were okay.
