Greetings everyone!!!! My name is Katrina and I am from Bainbridge, Ga. My personality traits to make me a great caregiver is that I love to help people. I am very hardworking and dependable and love to develop a loving and caring relationship with my clients. What attracted me to become a caregiver is because there are some people that do not have family and they often become sad and give up on life. I want everyone that I care for to know that I am not only a caregiver, but I am someone that you can call on at anytime. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is to know that my clients love me and that I make a difference in their lives.

I am a very optimistic and energetic person. I am very passionate about things that I do and people around me. I became interested in being a caregiver after my grandmother became sick and I started to care for her. I felt that since she did so much for me making sure she was as comfortable as possible was the least I could do for her in the end. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to be there and help other families in need who are going through similar things as me.

I enjoy making people smile and making sure all their needs are met. I'm proud of taking care of my mom who had Dementia; at times it was difficult but I was all she had so I was able to deal with her emotions whenever she was happy or sad. I was so proud knowing I could make her smile even though she was having a bad day.

I had to learn proper body mechanics, grooming, learning and sorting medications and assisting with daily living. As I got older I started working with The State of Florida.
