Hi, my name is Elaine. I have been in the field of caregiving for 30 years. I started out caring for both my parents before their passing. I've worked in nursing homes,hospital, home health, behavioral health and in people's homes. There's something about seeing a smile on an elderly,s person face that fills my heart with joy. This is the only job that makes me feel like my life is fulfilled. It's what I love to do and all I want to do.

I have had a life-long passion for working with adults who are differently abled, and have a great amount of compassion and empathy for such individuals. I started volunteering as a peer counselor when I was working on my bachelor's degree, and found it to be incredibly rewarding. After two more volunteering positions in human services, in addition to working as a case manager and caregiver with dementia-diagnosed clients, I decided that I wanted to dedicate my life to caregiving and social services, and continue this amazing journey. There is great satisfaction in being able to assist individuals who are in need of help to maintain a quality of life that they desire, in addition to helping people to better themselves. I am very proud of the work that I have accomplished both academically, in my community, and professionally. And lastly, here's a little bit about me: I have a BA in psychology and human services, and have aspirations to return to school for a doctorate in psychology. On a personal note, I am an artist in my down time, love my two dogs, appreciate the outdoors, am an avid gardener, and very much love cooking and baking.

Im 30 years old and I've been caregiving for 12 years. I moved to GA, from Philly . I work w/ special Ed children during the week and I enjoy helping others.

I've always been interested in healthcare and taking care of the elderly. They have so many great stories and memories to share, plus taking care of them reminds me of when I did it for my own grandpa! I loved being able to care of him in his own home! I've worked will all different levels and types. I've worked in assisted living facilities, memory care locked units for the dementia and Alzheimer's patients and have also done a lot of in home health care which I love the most! I'm a very patient, caring person that will take care of your loved one just like I would one of my family members!

I've been a caregiver for about seven years dealing with many different cultures. What I love so much about being a caregiver is helping people that can't or no longer help themselves. While being a caregiver I've learned that every clue has different needs which I'm comfortable with. Also I've private sat with an ALS patient caring for her day and night that required lots so it's basically nothing I can't do.
