I have been in the healthcare field for 8 years! I began this journey when I was 18, working for Hiawatha Homes, then I worked privately for a lady in her home for 5 years and while working for her I obtained my CNA and also began working for Madonna Towers.

I am passionate about providing direct care. I am friendly, compassionate, loyal. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about other people's lives. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I started as a Direct Care Professional in 1998 and moved my up to my current role of Program Director.

I have been Personal Care Assistant for 16 years. I also have my NAR Nursing Assistant Registered license since 2011. I am CPR/First Aid certified. Taking care of people and assisting with their daily living is my passion.

My compassion for my current residents is outstanding. I became a caregiver because my dad was diagnosed many years ago with dementia and Parkinson disease. I learned then that I truly enjoyed providing cares for people. I enjoy the friendships I've made with my residents throughout the years. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being as dependable as I am. Willingness to help out with hours, pick up extra shifts.

I do have a CNA license. However I don't feel comfortable releasing the number online. I like being a caregiver mainly because I believe empathy is key to enjoying life. I have seen so much in the years I have been at the nursing home, everyone needs empathy and I hope with every encounter I have- even outside of work that I show that.
