I have been a caregiver since I was 18. I have devoted my life to caring for people who can not care for themselves. I had no idea when I started my first job as a caregiver that this is what I would fall in love with it, but life is life. The thing I love the most about caring for others is when I am able to see the impact I made on someone else's life, whether it be my client or their family.

Hi all! I'm Adriana. I'm not very skilled in promoting myself, but since you've made it this far (which I am totally excited about by the way), I will do my best to impress you. I'm blessed to be the mother of two wonderful young men by the names of Aidan, 14 and Parker who is 9. I'm the wife to a very loving and compassionate man. We have a dog named Crash who looks like Scooby Doo who is a gentle giant. We moved to Texas about four years ago from Kansas City. I was a freelance court reporter there for nine years. Hearing and seeing more than anyone's ears should ever have to endure led me to a more holistic life and way of managing stress. After moving to Texas I decided to hang up my career as a court reporter and embark on a path more suitable to my natural instincts. We have more recently taking another move labding us here the St. Peters, Missouri due to my husband accepting a work promotion. I'm a loving, caring compassionate care-giver who will take care of you or your family member as if they are my own.

You don't have to be born or aged to have a disability. I feel that any one of us could be disabled if an accident happens. And if that did happen, I would hope that I had caring individuals to also help me. I want to help and care for someone the way I would want to be cared for. To be respected the way I would want respect. I enjoy being able to help. Bringing someone into your home requires a lot of trust. I am honest and trustworthy. My greatest achievement has been being able to witness true happiness in a highly disabled individual!

My top personality traits that help me be a great caregiver, is my level of patience, communication skills, and the simple fact that I genuinely care about the people that I work with. Even though it is a job I see it as an opportunity to learn new things, and gain new perspectives on life. I worked for comprehensive health care, and have loved it sense. My mother is a CNA and works in home health care, she helped me get into this line of work. I was afraid at first but I began to truly enjoy helping others, I love hearing their story's and giving them companionship. Recently, one lady I was taking care of passed away and you never know how much of an impact they have on you until that happens. It really opened up my mind and heart working with the elderly, I personally am proud of just being able to make people happy.

I like to help other. I have 5 children. I like for people to be able to stay in there homes as long as possible. I love hearing stories about people.
