I love people and think we should all be treated with respect and kindness. I started caregiving due to the fact of both of my son's great-grandparents were diagnosed with dementia. I did not want them to be placed in a home or separated. Then after both of them passed away, I sadly went back to my wrecker service. Worked only two weeks and decided this is not what God wants me to do. So I went to work for Kelly's assisted living as an on-call coordinator and doing PCA work during the day. Then Mr Hartman came into my life he suffered from MS completely quadriplegic I was told I would be lucky if he lived 5 years. He became a father to me I kept him alive with the grace of God for over 20 years. He was a very large man that was bed bound but everybody was amazed that he only had one bed sore the entire time I took care of him. I do not have a problem with any pets and helping take care of them. I also will help your loved one with grocery shopping all ADLs and housekeeping.I love to make people smile. I have a quirky sense of humor. I also worked in a facility under memory Care. I just hope as I age someone will care for me as I have cared for the people in my life. Hello Clients Home health care has been one of my expertise for 5+ years. What attracted me to being a caregiver was seeing how hard it is for someone to not be able to help themselves. Some expertise that helps me be a great caregiver is that I have patience, I'm kind, and I respect everyone. I love to make everyone smile and feel encouraged. I'm a compassionate, empathetic,caring person that enjoys helping others. I've been a care professional since 1999 and have worked in all levels of healthcare from nursing homes, to in home care, to rehabilitation centers. I've also attending training for Medical Assistant and have my certification of completion. I've worked with people that suffered from all ailments from dementia, Alzheimer's, COPD, to memory disorders to name a few. The achievement that I'm most proud of would be returning back to school and completing my Associates in Science degree, and getting accepted into Temple for my Bachelor's in Science.

I genuinely care about my clients. In addition to doing my job in a professional manner, I treat all of my clients with kindness, respect, and dignity. As a teen, I helped my mother care for my grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her. My own mother is a dementia patient with diabetes and I am involved in her care as well. I truly enjoy working with seniors assisting them with independence and a better quality of life.

1)I became a caregiver because I love to help others and make a different in someone else's life .2)What I like about being a caregiver is,to be able to help someone and it's really make me happy . And I've been Cna for more than 20 years and +and I love what I do . The reason that I love it is because I had a car accident 20 years ago I could not do nothing for myself and my family took care of me and I said to myself whenever I'm getting better and able to do everything I have to help others who needed help & won't be able to take care of themselves. And because I have compassion for what i do and I tell anyone that who want me to work with a loved one if they don't have enough money to pay I'm willing to negotiate. Because our Father in heaven wants us to care for one another.
