What makes me a great caregiver is my ability to empathize and understand just about anyone. I have always loved helping people so to be able to do that everyday is very rewarding. I am compassionate, kind, paitent and very reliable. I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

Others as well ad myself would say that I am a very outgoing and optimistic individual. I love to laugh and bring joy to others in any way that I can. My passion for caregiving began when I was a young girl. Always wanting to help others. The things I enjoy most is feeling and knowing that I somehow accomplished helping someone's day be better.

I'm 36 years old. I have been doing caregiver for 3 years now and I have enjoyed all 3 years. My passion for being a caregiver came from my grandmother, I was her caregiver for a while so I would say I've learned from the best. I treat all my clients as if they was my family and most of all I give and show them love and that they are safe in my care.

I am very dependable trustworthy and honest person. I love working with the elderly, has always been a passion since I was 13. Companionship is so important with the elderly and helping to serve their needs and just being there to see them smile and be happy.

I have always considered myself an old soul and find it a privilege to be in the company of and care for our older generations. My grandfather was my best friend growing up and I had the privilege of assisting in his care the last few years of life. I am a single mother to two young boys and attempt to work primarily while they are in school for half days. I do have some flexibility as my own mother lives locally and enjoys helping out with them.
