I have been taking care people since i was 11. I started nursing when i was in middle school . what attracted me to do nursing is because all i like doing is helping and caring. What i like about is is seeing my clients smile and that tells me I for sure did my job ..Im proud of all my nurses achievement

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of working with various elderly clients, providing not only physical assistance with daily activities but also emotional support. It brings me immense joy to build meaningful relationships with them, as I understand that companionship is just as crucial as any other aspect of care. In addition to my hands-on experience, I have developed strong communication and problem-solving skills that are essential in this field. I am attentive to the unique needs of each senior, and I take pride in creating personalized care plans that enhance their quality of life. The happiness I derive from making a positive difference in their lives motivates me every day. After I was Honorably discharged from the Military, my best friend who was in the Marine Corps with me, was diagnosed with ALS. Spending time with his family and caretakers gave me a new found prospective on what I wanted to do as a career. They exemplified all of the personality traits that I've mentioned above and that's what I saw in myself. I enjoy making a difference in people's lives. The gratification from this is rewarding. Caring for 24 Individuals with various physical and mental health disabilities and being a role model, caregiver, big brother, and their Residential Director for 7 years. I am very proud to have served them and they will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've been a Registered Nurse for 16 years and my profession has suited me, since I'm a very compassionate. Before becoming a nurse I was a nursing assistant for 10 years and I just enjoy taking care of people. I mostly enjoy taking care of the elderly. Elderly have so much to offer and I enjoy their stories and spending time with them.
