I have been taking care people since i was 11. I started nursing when i was in middle school . what attracted me to do nursing is because all i like doing is helping and caring. What i like about is is seeing my clients smile and that tells me I for sure did my job ..Im proud of all my nurses achievement

I have been a caregiver for 6 yrs. I enjoy being a caregiver very much. I would not want to do anything else. I am passionate about providing exceptional care. I've been a Registered Nurse for 16 years and my profession has suited me, since I'm a very compassionate. Before becoming a nurse I was a nursing assistant for 10 years and I just enjoy taking care of people. I mostly enjoy taking care of the elderly. Elderly have so much to offer and I enjoy their stories and spending time with them.

I enjoy helping the elderly. One of my favorite things to do for my own family is cook for them or bake. Helping the elderly i didnt get to help my grandmother like I would of liked too. Spending time, talking, listening to their stories, cooking them food and/or treats. Becoming a mother, taking care of my family.

I am originally from Wichita, KS. My Dad moved the family to California when I was 10 years old. After graduating from High School, I moved back to Wichita, KS and wanted to be a Nurse. I decided to take a CNA class to see if that is the kind of work I would be happy doing. I worked for 3 1/2 years. I loved taking care of all the patients. I got married and we moved to California. I was a stay at home Mom. I divorced and moved to Oklahoma 10 years ago. I worked for several different companies in OKC as a 24 hour live-in Caregiver. I have also done a several Private Positions as well. I love cooking and cleaning and helping Seniors to feel comfortable in their homes. As an active Senior myself, I know the needs of other Seniors. I would like to work 3 to 4 days a week. I will always be available for emergencies as I know they happen. I am dependable and responsible. I am willing to work 24 hour periods if requested. I am considering moving to Chickasha and I don't mind doing some traveling. With 20 miles or less would be fine with me. I am from California and that is normal for me. I need to be active and this is the best way to do it, by helping others. I am a Christian and go to Services on Sunday and Wednesday. I would love the opportunity to take care of your loved one! Thank you for your interest.

I became a caregiver to my husband who is a 100 percent disabled veteran. All I wanted to do was make his life livable instead of giving up. He has ptsd a tramatic brain injury and many other disabilities. I also assisted with medications and meal preparations.The thing I loved the most about being a caregiver was to be able to see him interact with people which he would've never done before on his own. I just want to see people be able to have some kind of functioning life with a little bit of ease.

I have been a caregiver for 15 plus years. I enjoy it because it is challenging and rewarding. I'm very compassionate and sympathetic to my patients illness. I'm outgoing and understanding. I'm a single lady without any outside distractions so all of my scheduled time is given to my patient. I have no disabilities that would hinder my job performance. I'm trustworthy and develop a very close personal relationship with my patient. I'm very committed and have had the honor of staying with most of my patients until they pass.

When I was around 14 years old, my great grandmother suffered from dementia. My family moved her into our home and took care of her until the end to avoid a nursing home. I have years of personal, family experience caring for seniors in the home environment as well as professional. I currently work part time for Visiting Angels. I am looking for more hours to help pay for me to earn my LPN through nursing school. I love being a caregiver and get a lot of satisfaction through my job. I am very patient and understanding. I was in honor society and graduated high school a year early. I'm very determined, respectful, and passionate. :). thank you
