My name is Heather, I'm 41 and I've been a caretaker most of my adult life. It started when I helped care for my ex husbands grandmother and mother in their last years. From there, I ended up taking care of my own disabled children for the last 20 years. I have also worked as a care taker for Visiting Angels and learned a lot through them. As an environmental services worker in a rehabilitation and retirement home, they also provided extensive training for dementia and elder care. I enjoy enriching the lives of those most in need. I'm proud of consistently suprising myself with what I can learn and accomplish and the compassion and love I show to those around me.

I started taking care of my own uncle who is a double amputee with severe diabetic. I had to put him on a bathing PT, and regular doctor visits. After moving back to the Bay Area I found I really enjoy taking care of others and have taken care of a few private people. Now I was asked to volunteer until my background checks come back for Moraga Royale.

To introduce myself, I'm a mother to three amazing kids, that are now adults. I've dealt with ups and downs like everyone. I'm a very caring and honest person. I love helping those in my community that need someone there even if it's just to have someone to talk to or have a meal with. I have worked in the elder care field for 20 years. I love working with the elderly and being able to help them stay independent and in there homes for as long as possible. I am a patient caring loving lady, I have encountered many difficult situations in my years of care giving and i have faced them head on with an upbeat positive outlook.

I used to grow up in a beautiful facility where I was with my mother while she worked. Then, at age 6 I knew I wanted to help people just as I watched her do. The relationships she grew with these people were beautiful and she knew she was needed. I became a caregiver at age 17. I studied and received my CNA certification and started working doing what I love. I love to help my residents do things that they fill they can not complete on their own. I have worked with many different types of people and know that patience and compassion are the two most helpful things when dealing with my residents. I know that I will do everything I can to go above and beyond for the people I care for.

My name is Carol Moore. I am a mom of three beautiful teenagers all females. I am very compassionate, loving, truthful, and faithful, loyal. Understanding. I love to listen and give proper guidance when needed. Extremely helpful, able to adapt to my environment and my surroundings. I treat people the way that I will want to be treated family is everything to me I'm grounded in my faith. Sometimes I do put myself in another person shoes just so I can have a better understanding of what they're going through. I may even cry just so that they know that they're not alone because I feel their pain as well by doing so, by putting myself in their shoes. I love making people laugh and smile to the best of my ability and I know what time some people don't want to talk and sitting in silence I I get it, and if that would bring some comfort, then I would do so.

I am a great caregiver because I take the time to get to know each and every person I meet. I can meet any special needs and provide companionship. I am super friendly, as well as patient and understanding. I became a caregiver because I wanted to be able to help those who couldn't help themselves, or needed a little push here and there.
