I feel what makes me a great caregiver is I have been on the other side of the caregiver/patient bond. I took care of my Father for 2 years before he passed away and I feel that everyone should be treated with that respect and dignity they deserve. I love being a caregiver because I want to make a difference in someone's life and this is one of the best ways to do so.

One thing that attracted me to being a caregiver were my chances of not meeting my grandparents. It makes me feel whole. I enjoy spending time with the elderly. I genuinely love being able to take care of people and especially the elderly. I have always been very passionate about being there for the elderly and taking care of them as if they're my own grandparents. I have overcome a lot of fear I had with being around new people and new surroundings, and working with the elderly has taught me a lot of life skills, and most importantly being patient.
