I have worked as a caregiver in homes, nursing homes and hospice care for over 20+ years. I love helping people and treating people as I would want someone to treat my own loved ones. I understand that getting old is also a form of losing your Independence. I like to let the patients do as much as they can and help them where I am needed.

In Mary Elizabeth but I go by Liz. I've been a caregiver for 31years, and I have worked in many places. With my experience in health care I've grown to be very patient and understanding with clients and ive learned that with anger and frustration it can only make the situation worse. The connection and bond you build with your client is an amazing feeling and them gaining the trust of a stranger like yourself is heartwarming to me. My mother and I wasn't ever really close until about two years ago when she was diagnosed with cancer, and those two years we came together and I'm so grateful for the time we had together while we could. She unfortunately passed away april of this year and it's been hard for me but coming back into the home health service I think will be a way of me carrying on for her to help others like she helped me.
