My mom was a CNA for over 20 years and she always said I should be a caregiver but fatei feel, brought me to doing this rewarding job. I am a caring and loving person. I'm the person families trust with their loved ones. I cared for my first client to the best of my ability. That was my best achievement.

I spent as much time as possible after retirement, at the nursing home where my aunt was living. I spoke of family history, showed her pictures, played her favorite music and took her out to the garden area. She loved flowers. There are many elderly who are in need of companionship and I am available to provide that.

As an individual who spent her early years in a civil war, it was seriously sad to see people who were affected badly and had no one to care for them. Due to my passion for humanity, I found myself voluntarily helping victims in anyway I could as encountered them. After my transition to the US due to the war, I knew that caregiving was a part of me and decided to spent my career life doing that. As a care giver, it gives me nothing less that joy and excitement to know that I can be there for an individual during their most critical time of need and that I can also be a part of the team who nurture them back to recovery/health. I'm proud to say that I've worked with multiple clients who has successfully recovered fully as well as clients who has not. But again, such is life.
