My parents were both very involved with volunteering. I learned early on the benefits and rewards of being caring, kind and helping others. My mom lived in her own home until she recently passed away at 98. We had various caregivers for her over the years, and while some were wonderful, there were many more that were not. I treat people the way I would treat my own mother...with respect and dignity. I try to find what brings joy to whomever I'm caring for. Do they like to sing or be sung to, play cards, board games, go for a walk? I can help clean, make meals, get groceries, transport to and from Dr visits and hair appointments or just give a full time caregiver a break. I helped my mom with bathing, grooming and dressing and am willing to learn how you do things. I have a heart of gold when it comes to people who need a little extra help, especially the elderly. I'm reliable, patient, trustworthy and will always show up with a smile. I hope to hear from you....Denise Minimum of 3 hours I will gladly give you references upon request.
