I am an Occupational Therapy student going through my last rotation before graduation. I'm caring, kind, and attentive. Through school, I have gained skills that will make me a competent and mindful caregiver.

I have served in every conceivable mental health, human, public health, speech, law, quality assurance, sales, virtual call center/remote, telehealth, email, chat, Outlook Appointment Calendars, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, etc., engagement calling and teaching capacity possible. I have investigated, empowered, and encouraged families in every conceivable psychological, lawful, educational, job development, accounting, and as a Guest Teacher with IDEA Public Schools. PK-12. I have engaged and educated members to manage chronic health conditions, organize Behavioral Health records, assure compliance of members' medication, educate on various classes, Case manager, Foster Parent, Gymnastics Instructor, Certified Nursing Assistant/Psychiatric Attendant, medication management, and a Clinic Coordinator role/Pharmacy Tech; collaborate with the extended care team, coordinate care in English & Spanish with the community, school counselors, psychiatrist, therapist and law enforcement, court hearing judges, which included going into my office to schedule and assure appointments were kept and development of wellness plans and client advocacy, all by abiding with HIPPA regulations.

Hi my name is Dominic Marroquin I am a bilingual Certified Nurse Aide speaking both English and Spanish. I have more than One year of experience as caregiver, and I'm here to help you or your loved one with any needs such as transfers from wheelchairs to bed or vice versa to getting groceries, house chores, companionship and other activities you need to get done. I am a also First Aid, AED and CPR Certified.

I enjoy hearing others tell me their personal experience and I feel that being kind to everyone, young or old, is a must in this life. I enjoy giving back to my community by volunteering as much as I possibly can. A personal achievement I am extremely proud of is my persistence in attaining a higher degree.

My personality traits or expertise are that I try to communicate well with the elderly and try to be as patient as possible to be able to understand their needs. What attracted me to be a caregiver was that I lost my job as a clerk due to personal reasons years ago and well I had to work to support myself and that's when I started as a caregiver and actually I've enjoyed it. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I love socializing with them and make them feel that they belong here in this world other than them being depressed about not having anyone to communicate with them as far as their families who are working and not having time to visit with them. My personal achievements was being able to do just about everything possible with the elderly since they all have different moods and are used to having everything their own way. All elderly have different needs and moods every single day so you have to be able to adjust to their needs or communicate with them as best possible and like I said you need to have alot of patience.

My devotion to the resident,,to help elderly adults, like my grand parents.smile them and help them to achieve their daily interests.I am proud of myself personally because I see that I have done my job and I did it heartily and I was working not only in one country but I had an experience from Arab country that needs to understand them in different aspects and was so grateful that I did my best until the contract done.

I enjoy helping others especially those who need it the most. My grandma she's already at an old age hence why I became attracted to this to help as much as possible.

Caring , empathetic , loving and helping others , have been some of the traits that have made me be a very successful caregiver. I love to see my patient with a smile even when it's difficult at time I try my best to have them in good spirts and of course well taken care of . In past experiences in my caregiving career, I have experience a wonderful come back of a patient being bed bound , to being total independent of course with proper care and Dr recommendations , we got him to being as independent as possible .

I like taking care of elderly people, assisting their needs. making sure they need the help. at the end of the day I like going back to my home knowing I helped my elderly people.
