I have experience; first I took care of mom at home and in The Nursing home. She suffered from congestive heart failure and dementia. Same for 2 of my elderly aunts as well. I believe in life that has great quality of life. In as much as possible read with or to friend to exercise that brain. I enjoy being company and meeting clients needs. I have been blessed with compassion and joy that I can share. I believe all clients have done so much for the community they certainly deserve to be treated with loving care and respect. They deserve the best! I believe everyone has a call in life My call is to assist clients that can use my services..I am proud that I have been given the opportunity to work with clients that can use my help. I love preparing meals and seeing the client satisfied with the meal preparation. I have also been blessed with kindness, patience and lots of love for everyone.

I have a friendly personality and get along with everyone. While taking care of a grandparent in their time of need made me realize how much I enjoyed caring for them, enjoyed hearing stories about their life. I love that I can help those in need. A personal achievement I am proud of would have to be my boys. I am a mother of 2 boys who after they graduated both went into the Air Force.

I chose this path in the medical field from a young age when I realized how much I valued the individuality and the wisdom of my elders, and how much joy it brings me to be able to be a shining light in their darkest days. I plan on caring compassionately for my patients and rendering help to those in need. The interpersonal relationships with the patients/family are the reason I am here. In 2019, I was my father's primary caregiver, and I experienced some unprofessional nursing staff that made me want to be in the medical field even more. I have heard horror stories of unkind, unprofessional, non-caring nurses that are involved with our patients, and it utterly breaks my heart. I'm a firm believer that you lived a valuable life if you positively affected at least 1 person in your lifetime and I want to be rich in experience when my time comes. I view everyone as potential family and will always advocate for the patient with their best interest in mind. There are countless good people in this world that are deserving of so much. I crave to be a part of that experience. It's my calling here on earth and my purpose being a Christian woman. I view myself as being caring, empathetic, compassionate, understanding, medically knowledgeable, and a reliable person. I believe time with nature, is its own medicine and that love can heal. I encourage the patient to be active in their care and maintain a positive outlook. I am detail-oriented, focused, dedicated, and eager to get to know you and the family! I am a full-time student, going back to finish my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have experience with altered mental status patients and do well in deescalating situations involving conflict. My personality traits I would have to say that I enjoy making people laugh. I'm just a big goof ball. I'm energetic, I have a gentle touch and a warm heart. I got attracted to being a caregiver was because the elders have great stories, it sometimes takes me back in time like I was in their era. I'm very outgoing, I've been a caregiver professionally for 3 years, when I was a little girl I would always help my grandparents with anything they needed whether it was to help with their insulin, remind them to take their medication or if they cut them selfs on something I would always help bandage them up properly. I love to help everyone. I treat every resident like they are apart of my family treat them with love and respect. I enjoy interacting with the residents.
