I chose this path in the medical field from a young age when I realized how much I valued the individuality and the wisdom of my elders, and how much joy it brings me to be able to be a shining light in their darkest days. I plan on caring compassionately for my patients and rendering help to those in need. The interpersonal relationships with the patients/family are the reason I am here. In 2019, I was my father's primary caregiver, and I experienced some unprofessional nursing staff that made me want to be in the medical field even more. I have heard horror stories of unkind, unprofessional, non-caring nurses that are involved with our patients, and it utterly breaks my heart. I'm a firm believer that you lived a valuable life if you positively affected at least 1 person in your lifetime and I want to be rich in experience when my time comes. I view everyone as potential family and will always advocate for the patient with their best interest in mind. There are countless good people in this world that are deserving of so much. I crave to be a part of that experience. It's my calling here on earth and my purpose being a Christian woman. I view myself as being caring, empathetic, compassionate, understanding, medically knowledgeable, and a reliable person. I believe time with nature, is its own medicine and that love can heal. I encourage the patient to be active in their care and maintain a positive outlook. I am detail-oriented, focused, dedicated, and eager to get to know you and the family! I am a full-time student, going back to finish my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have experience with altered mental status patients and do well in deescalating situations involving conflict. My personality traits I would have to say that I enjoy making people laugh. I'm just a big goof ball. I'm energetic, I have a gentle touch and a warm heart. I got attracted to being a caregiver was because the elders have great stories, it sometimes takes me back in time like I was in their era. I enjoy being a caregiver because I want to help others, I want to learn and grow from them, the elders are so wise. The personal achievement that I'm proud of was the day I passed my CNA State Exam. Nearly almost 5 years and I've loved every minute of it, and I've learned so much

I view caregiving as a calling and love to help people. I have assisted with companion care to end of life and everything in between. I am delegated for med management, delegated for g-tube feedings and care, experienced with memory care, physical disabilities, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's, hoyer lift and wheelchair, physical therapy, speech therapy, and light house keeping.

I've worked in the healthcare field for 16+ years. I started out as a Certified Nursing Assistant, then worked my way to become a Certified Medication Aide. Over the last several years I also helped as Assistant Business Office Manager before later taking over as Business Office Manager at a facility I worked at. Sitting in that office working nonstop with no time to enjoy the conversation of the residents wasn't fun at all. Turns out it reminded just how much I truly love hearing stories of the elderly. Helping those who arent able to do the simplest tasks that you and I take for granted daily brings my heart such joy.

I enjoy people , their stories , the life they have lived , events in history they lived through that I can only read about . I know and firmly believe God put me on this path of nursing for its what I enjoy , Can give back and where my help is needed . I believe their are nurses and then there are exceptional nurses . If I can impact one family , one person and make the quality of life the live better then I have done my job . Nursing is not just a career it's a life long commitment and friendship to a patient .

Hi, I am very out going and friendly. I enjoy helping people and I have spent my life caring and making sure people get the quality of care they deserve. My goal is to help people live the most of their lives with laughter, love and the comfort of knowing they are being taken care of. I am a CNA and I have had extensive training in the United States Air Force as a Medic. And I am also a trained phlebotomist. I have worked with the American Red Cross in Richland, WA. I relocated to Austin, TX in 2010 to start a new and exciting life with the love of my life! I had the privalige of working with my last client for a little over 3 years. And before that I cared for her husband. I am looking forward to finding employment that I absolutely love and have a passion about.

Enjoy caring for the elderly. Very active with patient if they are mobile and able to be taken out. I've had patients I've taken to the movies, walking trails, lake, gone boating, shopping, out to eat, and basically get them out of the house to enjoy their day. If they are home bound I've baked with them some of their own recipes they may have. Because I love to bake from scratch. Cook, clean, and just spend time with them. I feel some don't have long why not make their last days good.

I started doing healthcare since I graduated high school. I first started as a caregiver and really loved the experience of being able to help somebody who really needs it. I have been doing healthcare for about 4-5 years I love the experience of being able to be apart of something bigger to many people they might just see it as something small but to the person or person's that we are helping to them it's something bigger. I also like being a friend to my patients I love hearing their stories of when they were young and how they came to be. I like learning new things and new people and sometimes we come to learn new cultures. During COVID i have learned that being there for our patients goes beyond a caregiver you start being a part of their family which in the end is such a great feeling knowing that your hard work and dedication really matters.

I have been a nurse for 26 years. I have a current RN Tx license. I believe that I make a difference in my patients care. I treat my patients as if they are the only thing that matters. I assess the patient and educate if needed. I am also very sociable.

I believe I'm a great caregiver because of all the experiences throughout my fire service career. This was over 25 years which included the rank of Fire Chief in two different cities. You're always working around people serving them and having their best interest in mind. During that time I also workwith a gentleman spending over three years in his home who was diagnosed with PSP. This included feeding showering companionship Total Care spending 24 hours a day in his home. I have also worked in a couple other nursing homes and assisted living facilities as a cook. Once again this allowed me to be around the environment of health care and serving the resident. I've also spent quality time in assisted living and Memory Care Facilities working with all kind of residence for different kind of diagnosis. Every time is allowed me to make a bond with all the residents and make it more than just a job but a place I wanted to be. This has allowed me to understand and realize how important it is to have compassion, patience, and a genuine sincerity as it relates to caregiving and home health. We are the ones who help ensure that all of our residents or people we care for in their homes have the dignity, respect,security and safety that they are entitled to and something I believe all of us need to have I like being a caregiver and a CNA because once again I am able to care for people take care of people, and be a part of their complete care plan. More often than not we may be the only ones left to assist them during this time in their lives I am currently a CNA ( Certified Nurse Aide) through 2021 in Texas my home state and have my CNA certification in 6 other states as well. I have worked in that capacity for the last 4 years. I have experience in a hospital setting, assisted living, and nursing homes , home health and long term care.
