1) I'm passionate, caring, I love helping others to make them feel good 2) my mom got sick with cancer when I was 13 and I saw people having to take care of her and I could just see her eyes light up when people did the littlest of things for her to make her have a better day 3) I love care taking because of the stories you get told of their childhoods, and how they all grew up and from what I experienced they love to tell someone about their childhood if people would just listen to them 4) my favourite personal achievements is graduating high school and living through losing my mom at a young age and knowing that I'm gonna be okay

I think what makes me a great caregiver is that I'm very patient with anyone and everyone. What really attracted me to being a caregiver was my dad. He got cancer and i had to becoming his caregiver till the time he end up passing. I enjoy helping others and seeing others happy. My personal achievement is that honestly i never gave up on life.

I'm a great caregiver because I come in the the family's home and I make their Lives easier. I come in to help not only the client but their daughters/sons/grand children as well. I always try my best to help out where I can, and to try to make the client feel safe and protected at all times. I started be a caregiver for my grandmother about 10 years ago. We had found out that she had heart disease and kidney failure , And dementia, and at her age we decided since she was declining we all pitching in at a family to keep her at home. I love seeing her face everyday when I come over to be with her, she didn't remember who I was, but looked forward to seeing me everyday. I enjoy being someone a family can depend on to be their for their family members and sitting and talking with the client is so much fun and educational all at the same time.

I became a caregiver due to my father becoming sick three years ago and took care of him at home rather than hospitalization. I find in home care to be more personal and compassionate care. I also feel that people recover faster when surrounded with their familiar items.
