What makes me an outstanding caregiver is that I am very caring, compassionate, have tremendous patience, and I enjoy making a difference in someone else life. I have 25+ plus years experience in the medical field working as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home health Aide/Medical Assistant. Currently enrolled in college completing my BA in Psychology/Social Work degree. I am employed by Life Path Hospice which has truly taught me how precious life is and the meaning of being able to care for myself and others.

What attracted me to become a caregiver is that I was looking after my grandma and I was the only one around and helping, while other family was out living life when there own mom needed them the most. So after she passed i looked into being a caregiver and have been doing my job every since. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that they tell a lot of amazing story's, and you can pick up a lot of wisdom from them as well. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I recently received my High School Diploma and is soon about to study for LPN

I make a great caregiver because, I'm patient, nurturing,and knowledgeably. I'm experienced with stroke, dementia,altzimer , memory care and physical and speech therapy. As well as quadriplegic. I can use hoyer lift as well as sit to stand lift gait belts,, etc.. I am dedicated to my clients and their needs. I knew since then I loved helping caring for other. I always enjoyed playing and combing my dolls hair, feeding and play cooking for them. I always look after the house keeping home cleaned and organized. I have been a Certified Home Health Aide for 20 years .
