Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Zachary Oswald and I hope to be your helper. I am 34 years old and have been in health care for a little over 13 years currently. I have a very wide range of experience so far on my journey. I am CNA, PCT, CBRF and CPR certified. I have lots of experience in and out of facilities all the way up to hospitals & clinics and have been able to work with everything from basic needs to full assist, as well as in home care, rehabilitation, long term and short term care. I like to believe I am very well rounded. I am a current nursing student going for my RN currently. I take pride in my work by providing best care possible within my abilities. I am very passionate about this line of work and have been from a young age since I grew up taking care of several family members. So if I'm taking care of your family they will be treated like they were my own allowing me to give them top notch care.

I am very loyal, protective, intuitive, and caring. I have 21 plus years experience in caregiving. Being a caregiver is not for everyone, but what sets me apart from most is I am a natural empath. Working with people in general requires a natural nurturer; which I am. Helping people young or old allows me to experience people on a different scale. I realised caregiving was my calling about 20 years ago. I was offered a private position and I fell in love with it. I enjoy many aspects of being a caregiver. Everyone is different, so I enjoy learning new things about people. I can honestly say I find it fascinating to have the opportunity to help people from all walks of life. I also am proud to say it takes a special individual to overcome adversities and have a positive outlook even after difficult or complicated experiences.

I love what I do! I have been careing for the elderly for 25+ years. I feel there is a great need to keep seniors in their own homes as long as possible. I love the interaction of one on one and helping people stay active and healthy. I cared for both of my parents until they both passed in 2014 and I know how much it means to have someone you can trust with your loved ones. My mother had dementia and COPD my father was blind paraplegic and diabetic wheelchair-bound. My clients become like family to me.

I love being a care giver since i was a kid my grandparents took me to the nursing homes and we used to sing to the elderly and give them little gifts like soap and lotion and the happiness that me and my family gave to them made me feel so good inside . seeing them light up and be happy is the most increbile feeling in the world . when i work as a resident assitant and took care of multiple people they came my family . alot of the residents didnt have family that come and see them and i made there days . they use to tell me when i would walk in i have missed you so much and where have you been lol especially the dementia patients. If i can make a difference in somone life and take care of them and make them happy than thats why i do what i do .

I love being a companion to others and I have always been the type to make sure everyone was taken care of and all their needs were met. You won't regret having me work for you. I work very hard and will be very loyal.

I think caregiving is very rewarding. I am helping families with their loved ones with everyday tasks they are no longer to able to do themselves. I have a whole new view on what i do, i not only cook,clean,and care of this person. I get to build a relationship with them,their families, hear their stories and be there when no one else can. I feel i come in and put a smile on anyones face. I was once told by my pervious client that i brightened his day knowing i was going to see him the days i was scheduled! I am very honest and trustworthy and love talk and make people feel comfortable. I am good at listening and being patient when needed to be. I enjoy taking care of people,and would enjoy even more getting to build a new relationship with someone. There's nothing more rewarding knowing your family member is takin care of by someone reliable,and that someone is me!
