Hello, I pray you're reading about me while all is well. You may see that I did not include a particular school of training. This is because all of my experience is hands on, from the private care of my own grandmother to the private care of others and then that as a caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care. I am a chef by trade, but I have a passion for & love the elderly and mentally disabled. When you have a natural passion for something you excel at it. This is what makes me a wonderful caregiver. I'm always willing to put in any extra time needed to learn new things. I love spending time with the elderly & mentally disabled, & I treat them as I would my own family. I understand that it is not always easy to have someone come into your home to help you do things you've been used to doing on your own. I treat every client of mine with the dignity & respect they deserve and am always willing to go above and beyond to make sure they are cared for. I enjoy listening to their stories, preparing nostalgic meals, & being a motivation & encouragement in any way that I can. I have been doing home health care with my mom for Alzheimer's and dementia patients since I was 13 years old. I love helping people and helping them feel more comfortable. And still feel like they have their independence.

I grew up with a huge family, my mother was a Foster care provider, my dad was a Chief Fireman, I am the youngest of 8children, I grew up watching my mom take care of handicapped children my entire life, I always loved seeing how happy it made her to be able to help someone, even if it were just by giving that child love, I've grown to follow her footsteps and I just love being able to help someone if I can, even if can't make them better health wise, I can help them feel better emotionally, everyone deserves the BEST CARE POSSIBLE, that's why I love doing this job! I'm experienced in all aspects of Nursing, I've done pretty much everything expected, I am Certified in Nursing, I'm in school for Phlebotomy, I worked 15yrs in Dementia Care, as well as Alzheimers. I'm very fun to be around and love the new experiences with each client.

I feel like what makes me a great caregiver is I put my clients or residents first. I care for them like I care for my own children. I chose to go into caregiving because at the end of the day I know I made a difference in their day making life a bit easier for them and giving them a better outlook on life knowing somebody is there for them. It's very hard for me to leave my residents because they have became part of my family, my family knows them all and even my children love my residents and my residents and coworkers love my family as well. I feel like I mainly chose this path because I wanted to be able to help others as much as others have helped and blessed me. If I can do it for my own family why not share my care with others who need it as well. It warms my soul to see my family and the people I support smile and feel loved because they know I truly care.

I have a wonderful personality, I'm a very loving person I've been working as an aide for 9 years. I started working in group homes and I loved it then started doing private care. I love being able to keep someone in there home.

I am a very patient and giving person. I absolutely adore helping people. I love the smile on their faces when I arrive. It makes me feel like I'm not working a day in my life even when it can be draining. I am a mom of four. I am use to taking care of people. Anything I am asked to do I will find a way to do it. I am CNA certified. I am personally proud of being able to come back after a major car accident I can come back to doing what I love.

Absolutely adore the elderly. I received my CNA license in 2017 but have yet to use it. I did about 6 months of clinicals, gaining hands on experience not only in the classroom but through a nursing home facility. I am also CPR certified. I just want to be that one caregiver to make a difference.
