I've been a Licensed CNA for 4 in a half years. I've worked in nursing homes assisted livings hospitals and mental/substance abuse units. I'm very genuine loving and understanding when it comes to my work because i know it's hard to find that in the healthcare field nowadays, it's like everyone just does it for the money and no passion behind it. Although i like to get paid it's genuine passion that comes with me. I got into this field because of my grandmother so i proud myself on treating my patients clients and/or residents as such. I'm currently in nursing school, well doing my prerequisites for nursing school at Ivy Tech Community College I'm super proud and excited about that because going back for my R.N has been a goal of mine since i became a CNA back in 2019. Im just proud that I'm actually and finally in the process of making that happen! Dominating and changing the healthcare industry is my end game.

I became a registered nurse years ago because there was nothing more important to me than caring for people. I have worked as a home health nurse most of my career and so I have lots of experience that can be utilized but the real joy I received was when I was talking, visiting and caring for my patients. I often wished I could stay all day and so if the request is for dressing, bathing, companionship and other needs without a technical skill that is also perfect because my heart has always been with people not my degree.

What makes me unique is the God given ability to brighten every mood .. sad or not? Nonnie would bring that smile to your face! What attracted me to be a caregiver ? Well I had limited care and know what that feels like ... so trust me I wouldn't want anyone to feel lonely like I did ... I enjoy laughter and memories I would have from my lovely clients .. I love providing companionship to my patients and assuring their safety with lots of tender loving care. I have 6 years of experience as a live-in and day care provider for my patients with Parkinson's disease, osteoporosis, disabilities and other illnesses including wound care. This has been with compassion, honesty, integrity, responsibility and tender loving care.
