I love taking care of others. I love ensuring my patients families that they are in the best hands possible. I am passionate about my patients health, and their overall well-being. I am a caring soul, and often times find myself being an over achiever with absolutely no regret when it comes to those in my life. I lost my grandpa years ago and it was one of the hardest things for me. He resided in a nursing home that he wasn't getting the best care from. It broke me in every way possible. When we went to take him out, he was put on hospice the day of. We then lost him the day after. I became adamant and insisted on giving the best care in the healthcare setting. I started working in the nursing field, and refused to give anything less then my best effort. I strive to make families feel different than mine did. I go beyond expectation to make my patients feel loved, and taken care of.

My name is Roberta. I have been in the home health Aide field since 2008. I love the health care field because I get to work with families and their loved ones in their home.

I am very empathetic and I love taking care of people especially the older ones. I am punctual and very trustworthy. I have worked in various healthcare positions. I think my willingness to learn and my love for taking care of people definitely attracted me to this profession. I love their faces and smiles when you do the smallest things but they are so big to them and the satisfaction of making sure their taken care of at the end of every shift. Most of my family has worked as caregivers. All they way from home caregivers to nurses. I'm very compassionate confident with what I do. I'm patient and kind with my clients or with anyone who needs help. I've done community services at daycares & nursing homes ever since I was in highschool. I have also worked in nursing homes as well so I know quite a bit about health care. I also have my pharmacy technician license so I know about medications. I enjoy helping others as much as I can to help the community.

I love being a caregiver because I fell as though it helps give me a purpose and I love showing other people their purpose. It's a job that makes me proud everyday and allows me to express my love for people.
