Hello my name is Chassidy Weaver, I am a mother of 2 and passionate about my work and caring for others as much as I am my family. I have 14 years experience as a caregiver, I have worked with special needs residents, in a long term care setting, as well as assisted living, with people needing extended care & dementia care. I am also a qualified medication assistant with CPR certification. I enjoy connecting with residents & treat them like they are family and show them how important they are despite disabilities and being a companion for them. I am proud of my achievements as a caregiver because I easily connect with senior citizens and I take pride in the trust they usually have in me. I love taking care of others. I love ensuring my patients families that they are in the best hands possible. I am passionate about my patients health, and their overall well-being. I am a caring soul, and often times find myself being an over achiever with absolutely no regret when it comes to those in my life. I lost my grandpa years ago and it was one of the hardest things for me. He resided in a nursing home that he wasn't getting the best care from. It broke me in every way possible. When we went to take him out, he was put on hospice the day of. We then lost him the day after. I became adamant and insisted on giving the best care in the healthcare setting. I started working in the nursing field, and refused to give anything less then my best effort. I strive to make families feel different than mine did. I go beyond expectation to make my patients feel loved, and taken care of.

I am very empathetic and I love taking care of people especially the older ones. I am punctual and very trustworthy. I have worked in various healthcare positions. I think my willingness to learn and my love for taking care of people definitely attracted me to this profession. I love their faces and smiles when you do the smallest things but they are so big to them and the satisfaction of making sure their taken care of at the end of every shift. I'm proud of getting into healthcare to being with its always been my passion and to continue in healthcare is my best person achievement.

I am a very caring, responsible and respectful caregiver. I love to help those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help patients live life to their full capabilities and help them with their daily needs.

I do what I do because carding for others is what I like to do. I grew up caring for others and continued to do it in my adult life. Children are my specialty but I also like making sure adults are cared for the way they should be. I wouldn't want anyone to sit and watch their phone instead of working with me so I want to make sure they have someone there to interact with them and make them feel as they have someone to depend on. Treat others as you want to be treated. Family isn't always blood related.
