Hello I'm new to the company but I do have some experience with caregiving. I absolutely love and adore helping other, also being there for emotional support, physically support or even being a friend. I'm very cheerful I am participating in online college I'm majoring in (CNA) (no it will not affect my availability to work) I am 18, yes I may be young but I'm extremely reliable and beyond interested and excited to help others it always been a passion for me.

I have been in the care field for seven years and have been focusing on geriatrics for the last almost four years. I love what I do. I treat every person, regardless of condition with the utmost respect and dignity. I try to educate the person in my care What is going on with their body and I try to help families understand what their loved one is dealing with.

I have had clients with various care criteria for 3 years-and it's my passion. Although I am young, I empathize with the challenges of those in their later years, particularly when dementia is a factor. Days can be very long, depressing, and lonely for the elderly and I'm so grateful to be able to help those in need, engage them, and bring some joy! I worked at nursing homes for over a year, and at times was solely in charge of up to 15 residents at once. This taught me to be organized, responsible, and resourceful. I show up. It also gave me valuable experience with advanced Dementia/ Alzheimer's patients. I understand that you have to learn which approach works best for each individual. This is one of the reasons I have moved into private care-so I can give each client attention and care tailored specifically to their personality. I have excellent references upon request.

Caregiving provides me with joy and satisfaction in knowing that I can make a positive difference for someone else. I am a mother of three teenage sons and I was an elemenatary and middle school teacher for 20 years.
