I am a kind, trustworthy, loving, attentive,very dependable. I have worked with the elderly since I was sixteen. I drove a 70 year old back and forth to speech therapy in Commerce,Texas. On weekends I stayed from Friday night to Monday morning with a bed bound elderly woman. I read to her, bathed her, cooked all her food and fed her, changed her when she needed changing. I have done elder care since 16 even though I worked a full time job. I took care of my terminally ill father for a year until his death. I did everything. I ran errands, took him to his appointments and took care of all his physical and mental needs. I love taking care of people and I know that if the family has hired me they need respite and have someone with their loved one who is going to take the best care of them.

Hi, I'm Briana. I think what makes me a great caregiver is that its more than just a job to me. I like to think of the patients being one of my own family members and how i would like them to be treated with love and respect, and some dignity. I got into caregiving because my whole family are in the medical field, and i always told my grandparents once they got older i'd be the one to take care of them just like they did for me and i knew thats something i wanted to get into. I enjoy spending time with my patients, actually sit down and get to know them, make connections with them i think personally its something great to do as a caregiver because you get to help those that are in need, that cant help themselfs. I hope one day to move up in the medical field and become a nurse. as for my personaility i think i'm very bubbly i love to talk laugh and especially make others laugh, i think i'd be a great caregiver for your family member.

I am a great fit for this caregiver position because I am very friendly and outgoing. I care a lot for others and I would love to become an elderly person's best friend! I would love to get the experience of taking care and becoming close to our elders since they are most of the time by themselves. I have worked mainly with elderly and individuals with disabilities all ranging from mental behaviors/outbursts to visual impairments and completely dependent on staff. it has taught me alot about understanding others who need help just to complete daily living skills and having a compassionate heart. This to me has been an extremely rewarding field as you get the satisfaction of helping out others to complete their daily goals and independence. although i have the years of experience, I will be going back to school to get my CNA certificate.
