I am a kind, trustworthy, loving, attentive,very dependable. I have worked with the elderly since I was sixteen. I drove a 70 year old back and forth to speech therapy in Commerce,Texas. On weekends I stayed from Friday night to Monday morning with a bed bound elderly woman. I read to her, bathed her, cooked all her food and fed her, changed her when she needed changing. I have done elder care since 16 even though I worked a full time job. I took care of my terminally ill father for a year until his death. I did everything. I ran errands, took him to his appointments and took care of all his physical and mental needs. I love taking care of people and I know that if the family has hired me they need respite and have someone with their loved one who is going to take the best care of them.

I have worked mainly with elderly and individuals with disabilities all ranging from mental behaviors/outbursts to visual impairments and completely dependent on staff. it has taught me alot about understanding others who need help just to complete daily living skills and having a compassionate heart. This to me has been an extremely rewarding field as you get the satisfaction of helping out others to complete their daily goals and independence. although i have the years of experience, I will be going back to school to get my CNA certificate.

At a young age my great grandmother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, my grandmother had a heart attack and was put a pacemaker. Also my mother had a major stroke. I assisted them in many ways and still do. I enjoy being a companion to others. I'm very joyful, open to learning new things and very respectful. I would love to be a help to anyone in my young age for experience and the joy it brings people.

I am caring and loving. My mom has been a caregiver all her life and that's what attracted me to it. I enjoy most getting to know new people. And my personal achievement I'm most happy About is having my CNA.

I became a caretaker, because I like the feeling it gives me, and the person I' m helping . I enjoy getting to know the person I'm taking care of and spending time with them.. I achieved my associates degree in medical specialties this helps me in understanding and helping the person I take care of. I am compassionate dedicated hard working and honest person, who believes in just because people get older doesn't mean they need less help. They may need more as I have found out taking care of my one clients who has had a stroke and a heart attack. Who has been my inspiration seeing her over coming so many obstacles and finding new ones she now has to over come, but still continues to move along. I attended college getting my associates degree because I found that no matter what job I held. I always found my self wanting to help others. I will be finishing my degree soon and getting my mna, so that someday in the future I can work my up to a hospital environment.

I care so deeply about my patients about the medical field and overall just helping. I love to make people laugh, smile feel better. I know that I would make an outstanding caretaker because I actually care this is more than a pay check to me. This field is my passion I plan to one day go back for nursing when I can afford to do so

Hi im heather, i am a single mother my son was dignosed with odd wich is oppiste deffiancy dissorder and adhd . i care for him when hes not at school. i have done care giving prior to hes dignoises i worked for campo behavior health for some years . i enjoy being able to help someone who cant do somethings alone or need assitance with some or all things makes me full usefull and happy that i can contrubite to someones health and happiness . one of my personal achievemnts that i am proud of is that at first every were i seemed took look for help for my son to get for hes disabilites and better under stand them i either got the run around or belittled upon it, at this point people and the system take me serious and look highly upon me as a mother with a child with alot of needs and it makes me feel good i can better understand him and people dont look upon me as a dramatic mother just trying to look for something my son dosent need people like to pre judge before fully understand the situtaion so all in alll i love caregiving helping people get done what they need and in a fun respectful way . im a single mom as stated above i also have a grandma with copd i take care of its hard to see a love one fade away with a uncurable desies but to better under stand copd and never take a day for granted and just seeing her happy to have someone help her with things she no longer can do and know shes not alone is worth more then words can describe. and all of this is me and why i love to
