Ever since I was a little girl I can always remember I always had a connection with the elderly all the neighbors around me were in their 70s and 80s and I would spend my time going to visit them talking to them making sure they were OK and has always done it sense I love to listen to their stories it makes them feel good about themselves to talk to people give me a great sense of pride in helping the elderly with any needs they have so they know they're not alone. I am very patient have a big heart and just truly enjoy being able to give back to the people who really need it and the elderly on the top of the list of people who need help I am very dependable responsible I love the smile on their face when you make them laugh it makes their day right out of high school I think the home health aide course Inc Batavia at gentiva for a couple years after that I went on to Brothers Of Mercy and took their CNA course and I worked at Brothers Of Mercy for over five years once I started having children I was a stay at home mother and I took in my grandmother who had Alzheimer's and dementia and diabetes she lived with us For over 2 1/2 years until she had a major stroke and passed away I've had my own daycare for over four years I also worked at Johnnys Angels taken care of I have an elderly woman with us and I absolutely loved her we had enough time all the time I would bring her to some of my kids sports events to get her out of the house and she loved it .

Hello! I've been a CNA for over 7 years now. I also have been doing home care for almost 2 years. I love working in the medical field. I prefer home care over the nursing facilities however. I love the 1 on 1 time I get to spend with my clients.

I'm a very motivated, kind and caring person who just wants to help those in need. I love being able to be companion to someone to needs one. I have 2 kids. I just lost my very first client. She was 100. She was my everything. I was with her for 22 months.

Hi! My name is Hope and I am 22 years old. I first started in the field of care giving in 2016 after I completed my boces class for nursing in high school. Helping people has always been my passion. Learning I can make a difference in peoples lives keeps me going and only makes me want to do more. In the last few months I went to school, recently became a Cna and started working at a senior nursing facility. I love my job. Waking up and realizing you get to help multiple loved ones is a blessing to me. I provide exceptional care and compassion to everything I do. I have a handsome 2 year old son and elder parents who also need my help as well. Sometimes it's difficult balancing my personal life and my work life. But the outcome is amazing and I wouldn't change it for the world!. Being in the health field I've met many people of different walks of life, and I can say it's a beautiful thing. Getting to know different ways people live, their religion, background, ethnicity etc. has been very knowledgeable and a great blessing because I know I can take it with me wherever I go. I can proudly say that I love what I do with a passion and many people can say the same about me!. Caregiving and being in the health field is a very rewarding job, and I can't think of anything else I would want to do.

I'm a full time stay at home mom blessed with 2 beautiful children. In the process of going back to school to finish my degree for nursing. Have been a caregiver since I was a child. i am 36 i been care giving since i was 25 well actually all my life my mom died at age 3 and i was the only girl so i help take care of the boys i got a older brother who has learning disabilities who i help care for and in return i learned to have passion for the care for others its my heart and soul i love to serve others it makes me feel rewarded a since of fulfillment i guess. i am selfless as to where i always think of others and put them before myself as for this just job i feel its so good for me do to the great amount of empathy i have towards others.i have never been late and always worked when asked even if its a double i love honest that works both ways. i do however get attached easily and start to love my clients like family and i am very open with them and share everything this is good and bad because at that point i am not separating work for personal life but with this kind of work its hard. i did go to school to become a medical assistant and did graduate top of my class and with a perfect attendance but i really like one on ones not to much into the doctors offices.
