I'm a 39 year old mom of 2 girls.

I have worked around the world and have many friends and acquaintances with varying degrees of limitations and family backgrounds. I feel I am well versed in communicating and getting along with individuals of any background. I feel it is important to give our elders the feeling of being wanted and capable of living the lifestyle they are most comfortable with.

I am a very compassionate woman. I understand that every person deserves individual care that meets their individual needs. I am attracted to helping a person live their best life as much as possible. I enjoy being able to make a persons day better by me being there for them. One personal achievement I am proud of is helping a former client, whom had cancer become stronger and more full of life than before I entered his life!

I have worked in healthcare for the past eight years, and I believe my compassion, patience, and reliability are what make me a great caregiver. My mom inspired me to pursue this career after watching her work in healthcare for nearly 30 years while also caring for my brother, who has disabilities. I enjoy building relationships with the people I care for and making a positive difference in their daily lives. One of my greatest personal achievements is becoming a mom to my son, which has strengthened my patience, empathy, and passion for caring for others.

Hi..My name is Tammy. Im 49yra old and a mother of 3 grown daughters..I have two beautiful grand babies Well not babies they are 4 and 5 but babies to me.I am a certified CNA and I started at age 19..but took care of my grandparents and that's where I started my journey..I have started classes for cultivation tech and still do Cna or HHA work for I still love the work but just needed a change.

What drew me to this field initially was when my grandmother had a heart attack. There are some good hospitals in florida (where I lived at the time) but majority are poor quality. Unfortunately, my grandmother ended up in one that wasn't great quality. At 16 years old, I stayed in her hospital room, sleeping on the floor, to ensure that if she needed to toilet, I could help her. I helped bathe her, and spent time with her. I did tasks that a CNA should have been performing, but it was the best thing for her because it gave her a sense of dignity in a moment of her life that was hard enough as it was. I have been working towards getting my RN completed ever since; while this goal has still not been accomplished, I am working towards it. Family is important to me, as I'm sure it is to you for your loved one. I am a single mother of 2 boys, recently divorced. I am a hard worker, and very passionate about what I do. I take my time where it matters, and recognize that there is always room for education and improvement.

I think I make a great caregiver because of the way my grandmother raised me and how I had to help her growing up. It makes my heart warming feeling knowing I'm helping someone In need! I want to be a caregiver to give back to those who helped shape my generation. It's also a learning experience, older people are very wise. They have been through life and can teach more then u know. I'm mostly a outgoing person I love to sing and play games. I'm very athletic ,I like to make people happy and smile! I also enjoy cooking!

My name is Michelle. I have enjoyed the last two years of training and caregiving experience with the elderly. I have worked specifically in an assisted living environment, where I managed the home with 5 care residents per one caregiver. Additionally, I have worked in homes with 10 residents per two caregivers. In each home, I have been able to individualize the care to each person, as their needs may be. I have experience in crisis' management, fall risk, dementia (Alzheimer's) care, and much more. My responsibilities including keeping relations with families/nurses/care team members, cooking and serving meals, pristine cleaning of homes, showering/toileting and assistance with all Activities of Daily Living.

I am a person who is attention to detail and who likes to be thorough in my caregiving. My goal is to help people to become healthier and more independent. I feel I was born to be a caregiver. I genuinely care for people. I also will care for your pets too. I will do laundry, prepare meals, medication reminders, showering and help with getting dressed.
