I have been state tested since graduating high school. I am a mother of 4 and a wife of 13 yrs. I love working with patients and their family. I am very well at leaving my personal life at the door and being able to enjoy my day at work. Caring for people is all I know how to do. I just have to be able to be a parent as well with schools being done at home so can't do the long shifts of working in a nursing home. I have been in the field of caregiving in some form or another, most of my adult life. I have worked as a Nursing assistant in nursing homes, a hospital on the Med/surgery and Palliative care floor, and out of clients homes. I currently work as provider for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities on the weekends. I have provided support for DD individuals for most of the past 7-8 years. Along with professional care, I have also given care to family members at home after a stroke, and with post-surgery care as well.
