I love being a caregiver/CNA. I've been a CNA for over 25 years. It gives me alot of pleasure taking care of the elderly. I'm a very caring & compassionate person. The reason why I started becoming a caregiver was because my brother just got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I used to take care of him before he went into the nursing home. I'm very hard working & enjoy listening to my clients history, for example where they are from & what they used to do for a living. I would treat your loved one like I would my own with up most respect. I really enjoy getting to know my clients & I feel like they are part of my family. If I can make them smile & laugh then I know I'm doing my job because some of my clients don't have much family or friends & they get very lonely & depressed. My personal achievement is taking care of sick & elderly patients.

Helping people is something I've always loved doing, and knowing that you've made even one person's day better by doing so is what gives me satisfaction. I helped care for my great grandpap when he started getting really sick and it just took off from there.

I truly believe I was put on this Earth to help people. I enjoy making people's days a little brighter and easier. Life is about lifting each other up and making the most out of each and every day. I am going to be going to Nursing school in the Fall and pursue my passion of becoming a LPN, so I can extend my care to my clients.

I previously worked as a medical assistant in doctor's office. I had a special needs daughter that passed away and led me to a career in home health. I love helping people maintain their dignity and comfort by helping them stay in the comforts of their own home.

I love being able to help people if i can make someone smile or better their day someway it makes me happy. I have cared for my grandmother for a long time now and always worry about her safety and wonder if she is in the right hands and i always look at it as what if it was my grandmother or a family member being taken care of i would want someone that is kind, heartwarming, takes there time when the person they are caring for because at the end of the day thats what i would expect for my loved ones. I am also a mother and its in my nature to care for others and put them above myself. I am also a hairstylist sl i guess I have always cared for others and want them to feel good about themselves. I am a very fast learner, I enjoy doing different things with the people I take care of to widen their perspections. I got tired of working in a nursing home where residents felt as if they were caged 24/7 and limited to what they are able to do, so I widened my opportunities on where I can take my cna career and better my job opportunity.
